When you get to the end of your 6 months, you can manually renew a day early to roll your unused data. You don't want to do it during the 6 month plan because it will mess up the StackSocial plan. And when manually renewing, you can pay for your 7th month using Tello Dollars earned when you created your account. You can also downgrade to a lower level plan if you don't want unlimited talk and text.
If you have to order the SIM (which will initially show up as $9.99, but end up as free in the last step), you cannot order the port at the time you set up the Tello account. After the SIM card arrives, you follow Tello's prompts to activate. Then, you can click on "Port In" and bring in your existing line.

If you have to order the SIM (which will initially show up as $9.99, but end up as free in the last step), you cannot order the port at the time you set up the Tello account. After the SIM card arrives, you follow Tello's prompts to activate. Then, you can click on "Port In" and bring in your existing line.
I bought the deal 3 days ago, and redeemed it at Tello yesterday.
I wanted to get a 510 area code (where I will use the phone) while needing billing/delivery in a 775 area code. Not possible. Shopping cart had a weird "invalid address" error. No workaround available from their Chat.
What I meant was once we redeem it on Tello and when we receive the SIM card from them, how long will Tello give us to activate the SIM/plan? I think the 30 day that you are referring to is on StackSocial's side only.
If I buy the code on StackSocial's site. That code will always be available on StackSocial's site but I have 30 days from the purchase date on StackSocial's website to redeem it on Tello's site?
When redeeming the code on Tello's site, are you able to redeem the code when you sign up and order the GSM SIM or do you redeem the code only after you order the SIM and go to activate the phone with your new SIM? Thanks.
If that is the case where it is a strict 30 days from the date I order StackSocial's site and I need to redeem it within 30 days and I can only redeem it once I have the SIM, then that means I need to place an order with Tello now, and then when the 30 days is nearly up, I can activate the SIM.
Reason for doing all of these "gymnastics" is because I am on another plan which isn't due for expiration until end of March and I'm trying to get the most out of that plan before switching over.
