How are you going to be using it? or what's your environment.
Personally with the LG CX you really don't need a soundbar, the audio is a big step up from the Vizio, If I kept the Vizio I would have gotten a soundbar, so extra $$$.
The LG CX has an OTA channel guide, the Vizio doesn't, if you're a big OTA watcher.
Picture quality tho, they are VERY close, if you're planning on using a soundbar + Apple TV type setup and watching movies endlessly? The Vizio is great, It's a display, don't use the built in OS for content and use an extra Chromecast Stick/apple tv instead.
Gaming... PC Gaming Xbox Series X or PS5 and planning on taking advantage of VRR 120? Eh it's still kinda buggy, BUT having said that, there's like 0 game support right now. If you're PC gaming the LG is better because of the gsync/freesync option, but the PS5/Xbox use HDMI 2.1 for VRR and everyone recommends not using freesync with the Xbox, so both work.
I LOVE my CX, but yeah, I paid more for it, but I think it's worth it for my viewing environment. Also, LG has been making oleds for 10 years now, and it shows, the OS is very mature IMO, everything about it feels mature. This is Vizio's 1st oled, so there are and will be growing pains.
Will it match quality speakers? No, but that's not what he said and the point he was making is that with the Vizio you'll almost absolutely be spending extra money to buy some better quality audio solution (with many people just buying some fairly cheap but not that cheap soundbar), money which could go to just getting the LG where you're more likely to be satisfied with the audio.
Personally, I'd take high quality stereo over 5.1 and I have absolutely no interest in the XX.X channel mess that is newer surround formats. Modern audio processing can offer most of the surround benefits from 2-4 quality speakers, but unless you're putting that level of quality on just about every speaker, you're not going to match the technical capabilities of higher quality audio equipment (so spending the same total amount on fewer speakers is ultimately still going to give you better final audio quality; this would be even more true if they'd actually offer a mix that is tailored for that instead of just trying to keep people ponying up by adding more channels). Ideally they'd be offering object based audio formats that would adjust based on your speaker setup, EQ'ed for the equipment, room, and even your personal hearing. But that's for a different topic entirely.
With regards to the topic of the thread, the reviews show lots of people disappointed with the Vizio for a variety of reasons and many seem to return it and then buy an LG. The Vizio seems to have enough shortcomings that it wouldn't be worth it.
The Samsung Q80T is a huge disappointment, once you are used with OLED. I am returning my Samsung, although the price is significant lower.

"Modern audio processing can offer most of the surround benefits from 2-4 quality speakers"- Not a chance buddy. Stereo is absolutely crap for any movie (or game) with any sound effects. I'd rather have the cheapest speakers in a real surround sound setup (and no, I'm not hung up on 5.2,6.1,7.1,7.2 etc) than the most expensive stereo speakers.
In any case, people who are used to external speakers-whether soundbar or surround sound are not going back to TV speakers and so the expense remains the same for both TVs.
