We attempted to purchase this deal today. The cashier acted as though he was aware that these were on clearance and asked how many we wanted. When he brought them to the register, they rang in as full price. My husband then compared the clearance price indicated online, and it matched the make, model, and SKU for the TV that was rung up.
They immediately acted alarmed and contacted a manager. The manager asked my husband to look at his computer in the employee office, he stated that he was unable to find the same TV and pricing online and informed us that "If I'm not able to find it on Walmart.com, I can't honor it."
My husband proceeded to show him the Walmart.com site on his phone with the clearance pricing and the manager replied with "you can't purchase it from your phone." We explained that we understood, but our point was that the consumer-facing website showed the exact TV and pricing. At that point the manager stopped helping us, and refused to make any other comments.
In the future, in Michigan anyway, if the price rings up incorrectly... or is advertised with a mistake, you can demand a 10x refund for the difference. I think it is up to 5 dollars. So they would have had to issue you a refund for $50 bucks PER TV even if they didnt honor the "pricing error". As a fellow SD reader, you should look up your states Consumer protection laws.

Kind of stupid to film someone at their job just over a tv. He isnt wrong, you were because each walmart is different. Each walmart has their own pricing. The pricing you saw was clearly at a different location.

Walmart employees are the lowest of the low! They will lie to you then buy it themselves for the reduced price. They hide those televisions for themselves among other things, and management knows all about it and turns a blind eye especially for long time employees! Like they earned the privilege.
