I am hoping one day I can get it unlocked. Phone works on my personal att account and the imei is clean.
This whole thing with phone getting tied to an active account is so annoying. Its impossible for me to know the real status of the phone. I'm trying to get in touch with the ebay seller but it's been 2 years. Likely they won't want to help me.
Thanks for your advise though. Last time I buy through ebay.

Yes I know the S21 is a downgrade from the S20, but wife's phone that she uses at 1080p and no MicroSD and doesn't use Samsung Pay. I should be able to sell one of the Buds Pro for $125, making it a $28 upgrade for a phone with a new warranty
Also got a Note 20 Ultra + 2 Buds Pro for $400 after trading in another S20
The only people buying Samsung phoens at their price happily are the Slickdeals crowd and with some of these deals, Samsung are probably losing money.
