Customer Service Experience was terrible. They cancelled my order and when I tried to re-order, all the promotions are gone along with the galaxy watch 3 45 mm that I ordered. They then offered me 10% off the next order.. BULLSHITT business tactics.

My delivery has been pushed back even though I paid extra for express. Have been on 4 support chats trying to cancel my order and they still haven't cancelled. Horrible customer service, to cancel your order they claim they have to escalate it to higher level then they never cancel it.

no..why did u cancel in the 1st place? Were u trying to get the 10% discount that few people reported? The phone is already discounted and Samsung is actually giving more than decent trade-in for cracked phones and most of us were able to use our EPP and stack the healthcare discounts on top .

I have no idea why people would try to cancel a Note 20 ultra premium device just cos it's delayed by a few weeks, considering the price we paid (incl all discounts, trade-in and free $150 Samsung credit). And its delayed due to bad weather in Texas where, apparently, Samsung is sending the devices from.

I didn't want to cancel.... I explicitly told them not to cancel it... So not my fault. You sound like samsung customer rep.

Question on the unlocked Note 20 Ultra model vs company branded one....are the unlocked models missing some radio tower bands?

I guess let's say I have att lte 5g in my area but i buy the unlocked model, will I get a worse signal or the same as att brand model?

I know in the past the unlocked or international models had some issues like this.

Also if I were to buy the att note 20 ultra model...how long would I need to own it to unlock it via their portal? Thanks.

No way they cancel your order, there must be a reason. Did you told them you want 10% discount?? And told them you want to cancel at first.

Here's the backstory. I'm trading in a note 10+ 5G for the note 20 ultra with the galaxy watch 3. I legitimately wanted to change my order to the S21 Ultra trade in deal. I had messaged customer service if it was possible if they could just adjust my order to change the order to the S21 ultra and I would pay the difference. They said it wasn't possible so I would have to cancel and put in a new order. Ok, they also offer a 50 dollar discount to not cancel. I say nah its fine I want to put in the new order. So they cancel it on their end via a ticket. I immediately go back to their website and add the s21 promo to cart and try to add the Galaxy watch 3, which appears on the website, but after adding to cart says 'out of stock'. At this point, I'm freaking out cuz I can't get the galaxy watch3. So I immediately talk with customer service to tell them to not cancel my order. I explicitly said don't cancel my order, and they said that they were able to withdraw the cancellation. I have the ticket ID numbers, and yet they say they can't help. It's been a frustrating experience because they confirmed that the order would not be cancelled, But they did cancel, 3 days later after extending the eta delivery date. Call me a karen, but I believe my frustration is warranted given the promos and 45mm watch are now no longer available.Had I known this was going to happen 3 days later, I would've just put in a new order with the 41mm watch when the promo was still active.

Sprint's policy is 45 or 60 days I think

Although now that they are TMobile I dunno if you can go through TMobile to get it unlocked.

I will never trade in with Samsung...I sent them a trade in phone in prestine condition and they refused to credit me saying my phone was defective. I will only trade in my phone in person from that experience

The best deal is Sprint since it looks like with S20 trade it is $300.64.

Otherwise I don't know how people insist deals are better after launch.

At launch with Note9 trade-in I paid $659 after 10% cancel trick AND got $140 in PAW WOWPoints (30X) back (easy to redeem as cash), $30 back for referring myself, for a final price of $489.

And got $200 in accessories.

Looks like Note9 with this deal would have been $750.

lesson learned... don't trust the customer rep's word and you can't change your mind.
