Contacted Samsung and asked if I could change it a cracked glass return.
They refused to and said if I send it in, that it would be refused.
Will no change it to a cracked glass return...so crazy.
So anyways here I am... I'm ordering a back glass plate replacement. Oh well.

Gave them the chat number and 2 days later, the $100 refund came through as well. Again, many thanks to all the contributors of this thread!!!! I think I got the max deal possible (well, i hope they accept my trade in phone and give me the $200 on that, haha). Regardless, the extra $475 back already was NOT expected and that gives me room for error on the trade-in part
