If you have to watch a movie in this manner to understand the plot, then to me it's no longer pleasurable because it's simply a bad movie which the director didn't do a good job of explaining. Imagine if you were to watch this in a theater, you'd have to cheat and stay behind for a 2nd viewing to understand the plot. If the next show was sold out, you'd get kicked out and be left scratching your head!
With most Nolan movies, may want to consider the physical for the IMAX scenes.
$10 for the movie and $20 for an actual explanation re what the hell's going on in the movie...
I really wanted to like this movie, but it's extremely hard to follow and jumps around like crazy with little to no explanation as to the reason for the next scene.

Microsoft matched the price. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p...6kgwxn7p02 I agree with the IMAX comment. Nolan's previous IMAX scenes appear in 2.4:1 or 2.2:1 on streaming, instead of 1.78:1 that is on the physical discs.

Its a Christopher Nolan movie, you didnt really expect to be able to just watch it once with a bag of popcorn, did you?
Suggestion: Watch the first 45 minutes (or so, wait for a good stopping point)
Then watch it again. 3rd time if necessary.
Do that for every ~45 minute chunk of the movie.
Then watch the whole thing beginning to end.
Makes a lot more sense, and is a lot more enjoyable. At the expense of more time, of course.
Chunking it up like that is IMO, better than just watching it several times straight through
