TV is back on sale and has been restocked online (it was previously OOS in some locations). I realize this isn't as good as the BF deal, but it's still a discount on a pretty good tv.
Why would I pay 100$ more than the black friday price..
I don't know...maybe because it's not Black Friday anymore and you can't find it for that price anymore? If you want to wait for Black Friday pricing, go ahead and wait 9 more months...but for those wanting a tv now, this is a decent deal.
I just ordered this. With the 5 year warranty and up to 90 days to price adjust at Costco (by return, if it comes to that) I figure it's at least a little protection from a price drop as new models roll out. And even if not, I think it's a decent deal at this price.
What's better, this or Samsung q80/90t? Or LG similar priced. Just for ps5 and general movie use
Sony. Better image processing and minimal DSE. Q80T has panel uniformity issues. Ymmv. Though I don't trust Sony s VRR and HDMI 2.1. Sony has over promised and under delivered on its HDMI 2.1 promise. TLDR. If you game a lot and are hardcore go with the Samsung. If you love movie watching and Netflix and casual gamer like me then go with the Sony
Same here, I have a 75" Samsung Frame TV on order for $1650 delivering in March. Waiting to see if the 75" X90CH falls into this price range to decide if I'll cancel The Frame.
