Pretty shitty this year, no microsd card, only 1080p screen, no mst for samsung pay, nothing in the box like the akg earphones or the 25w fast charger. Doesn't matter what the big tech review sites say camera is definitely not a major upgrade over S20 Samsung must be paying a lot for the rave reviews to push the phone. Battery life is still pretty bad.

I got the phone and honestly didn't feel much of an upgrade over the s20 i traded in.

These were the some distinct advantages of chosing a Samsung over other phones but now they have taken away all that

At this rate a pixel 5 or even an iphone 12 is a better choice in my opinion. Both of those don't suffer from the terrible battery life that you get on samsung!

For those that don't know, Samsung removed the MicroSD card slot. Greed is literally the only reason for this move. Force people to buy the larger storage versions.

On my chats I always had the representative confirm that one's the phone ships I will get a $250 refund, if Samsung gives me issues, I'll dispute it with the credit card and use the chat transcript.

They should, as long as the pm was approved during the active sale & you have a reference code. I'm still waiting on one I submitted a few days ago (pm approved a couple of weeks back, phone shipped this week and arrived yesterday).

All that said: I'm considering ditching the Ultra in favor of the base model. Coming from the s9+ it's larger and heavier enough that it crosses a line for me. Going to throw a spigen case on it (phone feels weird to use w/out one due to that camera bump) and see if I feel any differently after a week. But rn I'm leaning toward the base s21 or just keeping the s9+.

Just wanted to send some positive news about the PM just got this email:

We're glad to inform you that your refund request $250.00 has been processed to your payment method used in the order. It will take up to 3-4 business days for the refunds to reflect into your account.

I had the initial rep confirm the 250$ with a ticket number. Once shipped I messaged them again and this rep wouldnt confirm the 250$ but said he forwarded my request to the backend team, I pushed hard for a confirmation but he just kept repeating phrases such as 'no worries the back end team will handle it for you'. Good luck all!

Has any one tried to PM more recently or tried multiple times? I bought the S21+ 256 gb, which was listed for $1050, and of course found for $800 on amazon/bhp etc. When I tried to PM they said it would only be $165 (not $250) and gave a chat ID. I want to try with a different rep to see if I can get the full $250 - phone hasn't shipped yet, but don't want to risk getting nothing or a lower amount. I'm guessing they aren't connected enough for multiple chats to matter, but has anyone tried this, or been getting $250 recently when attempting?
