This might be too hard to pass up, wasn't going to upgrade until I could get a 2k @144Hz for this price but I might have to bite as its better than my 1080 refurbed BenQ 27"

Just picked up a Dell from the recent deal. Same price, but that one is a 27", although at a higher resolution (1440P vs. ultrawide 1080p here). Which is better for office work? I'm knee-deep in Excel all day.

How does this monitor compare to the Dell Ultrasharps?

i have a 32" 1440P and a 27" 1440P - if I had a more flexible set up, I would be using the 27" for my work. Just my opinion.

I read saying that 27 inches is the sweet spot for 1440(qhd). This is 1080 and 34 inches so I don't recommend.

1080p leaves something to be desired in excel. it doesn't feel like you can see enough rows and takes some getting used to.

Good thing it's too wide anyways for my space, but like others said, resolution leaves much to be desired.

I've actually been using a 24" 1080p monitor with Excel for ages. But this 27" 1440p is definitely a major step up. It displays about 30% more rows so probably worth it to stick with it despite the smaller size.
