please stop giving awful advice.

i have four of the 1350VA versions. one on the PC i'm typing this on, one on my home theater + ubiquiti wifi + arlo camera, one on my fish tank (two fluval 70s and a 306 canister filter) and another in my game room with everything from a PS4 pro to an original NES.

i've had them for a few years and they still work just fine. if yours only last a year or two you have other problems.

to the other guy asking about service, yes, it is like two screws and you're in.

and to the other guy asking about a generator... it's not the same thing at all. your power goes out and you go into the garage and hope you didn't forget to fill the gas in your generator. if you did forget hop into the car and go get some. if you didn't you still have to run an extension cord into the house and plug in whatever.

these little UPSs flip on in like 4 milliseconds. if you have them hooked up to a PC the cyberpower software will detect a power outage and shut your PC down safely so you dont lose data or fry a drive.

looks like they are offloading stock of the older model. functions the same tho. newer model just has different front panel and firmware. (im not the one who downvoted, btw)

A generator and a UPS serve different purposes. The UPS buys you time to get power re-established (think minutes of uninterrupted power). A typical generator provides power over a prolonged period but doesn't provide uninterrupted power in an outage, especially consumed grade generators.

Thanks for your input. I cannot rep you, or I would.
Did Cyberpower change the model number? If so, I bet they are selling through older ones first. If not, it could be they didn't upload the later model pictures in the flyer or online yet. Sometimes that happens. Does Costco carry a newer model in the warehouses? Do you have the SKU?

How is this compared to the APC BR1350MS? Also, there is this back and forth on the BR1350 burning up or not. Plus the case on APC being the better brand.

anything that actually needs pure sine wave and you would connect it to a UPS?

Yes, some computer PSU's will require pure sine. Most do not, check your equipment if concerned!

Good deal OP, repped

The newer model also has 12 outlets, instead of 10 on this older one. That's the main reason why I'm holding out for the newer one. I hope Costco eventually sells the newer model.

None of my CyberPower UPS's have failed in 10 years. Just batteries needing normal replacement. I would buy this for sensitive equipment

I would remove that sensitive equipment. I am insensitive.

IMO they don't last for 10 years, usually 1 but probably die in 2 years. You probably don't know it until the power go out and this backup really put into use.......... and it shutoff in about 1min because the battery have been long dead.
I've got a CP1350PFCLCD, that just passed the 4-year mark. It's carried me over through numerous power blips and has full drained from extended power outages. Just yesterday I ran the self-test, which transfers it from line power, to battery - and it's still holding strong at an estimated 20 minutes - which is great considering the load I have on it.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I needed it.

Everyone has a different definition of easy, you can find the replacement instructions here:
https://dl4jz3rbrsfum.cloudfront....T1500S.pdf

Remove the front cover, undo some screws - slide the battery out. Unplug the leads, and installation is reverse.
