using a moto G5S+ right now (both me and wifey and both have cracked screens)
looking to upgrade, but this snapdragon chip seems week? wanted to get that Samsung A71 for $285 but was OOO. also looking at Moto G Power for $250
i'm using Mint Mobile and it works great, pay for the full year and its $20 a month for 8gigs/month, but with everyone working from home, who's using data??

No bloat ware, clean Android 10
It works fine on Verizon. Got it working on Red pocket Verizon. I had to do a chat with customer service to enable "cdma less" on the account or I couldn't receive sms/mms. Talk and mobile data worked right away although could not edit Apn.
Wifi is stronger than the Umidigi F1 I replaced it with.
The 6 gig of ram is really necessary now with all the bloated apps out there. Don't buy a phone with less.

It will work on the standard T-mobile channels(2,4,5 and 12) like most phones but might not be able to get best reception if the area you are in has just band 71. That's not wide-spread so I don't know how critical that is.

It's main competition is phones in this price range by Motorola. I bought a couple of Motorolas in the past but the thing I hear alot is people saying Motorola phones used to be better.
TCL is not a bad company with a good reputation. They make decent TVs found in Costco.
As for this phone, so far its been good once that sms issue was solved.
It has the bands for these carriers.
