I ordered these and they are very cheaply made. The elastic straps are thick and stiff and hurt my ears after only a few minutes of wearing. Definitely would not recommend.
Because the world doesnt resolve around you. I'm healthy and wouldn't probably have any issues if I were to get sick, but I care about the people I surround myself with.
Bought and returned these in January. Junk

Thanks for the heads up. I got a 3 pack before and they fit me well. I figure we'll probably have to wear masks for the rest of the year at my job, so some backups are nice to have
I'm wondering if they misspelled the name (on the tags, per reviews) on purpose to avoid being (possibly) confiscated as bootleg?
One could argue it's the consumers fault for assuming they are manufactured by Levi's the jean company. They could just claim "We no Levi's... we levi... no problem here!)
Not that $3.99 is such a big deal... I'm just saying.
Better to invest in proper surgical masks. Unless you're double masking it, only one of these by themselves won't help much.
Why would it be better to invest in "proper" masks when masks aren't for YOUR breathing, but to keep your breath out of other people's faces? Masks aren't supposed to protect us in any way, which is why the government doesn't insist in particle filtering. If they were for OUR protection, they would demand that you wear an N95 at the least.

There are a lot of reasons that n95 masks aren't being mandated, but the main reason is scarcity. N95>surgical>random cloths of varying composition. Layering a cloth mask with a disposable (such as a non-surgical mask) can be more effective. Anything with an exhalation valve is defeating the purpose of protecting others.
Were supply not an issue, an N95 would be ideal and CDC would be recommending that to everyone.

True the equivalent of n95 masks is what keeps South Korea open and numbers so low relative to the Idiocracy we have here.

No all N95 masks have those valves and those should not be what we give out. The problem of scarcity is the lack of manufacturing in this country. The corporate state would rather abuse the environment and pay pennies in other countries than properly pay workers here.
