Anyone else that would like to save some money and not have to drive to Walmart (which I avoid like the plague), this is a fairly good deal. I have 2 turbo charged cars (that are not diesel, btw) that call for this higher viscosity 5w-40 weight oil, so I go through quite a lot of this stuff.

We do buy from Amazon, but their shipping takes forever if not Prime and I am not comfortable with the game playing with 'subscribe and save' .... Most are knowingly going to cancel after shipping/delivery for the now savings and for me, that lacks integrity.

As an aside, I have done S&S and then also accepted a future shipment with a similar discount. If you don't want to wait for the S&S delay, that's understandable, but I don't agree there's anything wrong with setting us a S&S and cancelling it WELL BEFORE the next shipment ever ships.

Do whatever you want to do.

The above said, you have a strange sense of "integrity."

No way am I doing S&S for oil or anything else 6 months out without knowing the then price, so I would be using it now for the discount and cancelling after shipped. Pretty simple....
After all, how many would sign up for S&S if they could not cancel? How many are rotating three items for maximum discount and cancelling as needed? Sure, there is justification for playing the game that the rules are soon to change, but that is just not me.
Meanwhile, I and plenty of others have experienced enough of the justification that includes mass reproduction of Lowes coupons, how to scam Home Depot by returning part of the order, etc. And slowly but surely, those individually justified methods went away, or about to. Amazon is no different and changes are coming for S&S.

It costs twice as much as SuperTech, but it burns half the oil, so it kinda evens out, and it's better for the environment.
Since Rotella T6 hasn't been on sale for a very long time ($19.99 was the lowest I saw all year), I decided to give Rotella T4 a chance. I'll try to only use it during the warmer months. It's half the price, but it's not synthetic. It'll make it less painful when I actually have to change the oil at the end of this year.
