I found this on the makita promos page. Not every tool here has the free gift but I think its a decent starting point. Just search for the specific tool and see if the free offer is available. I was able to grab the XVJ01Z for ~$180 which I have been waiting to drop below $200.

But all the ones I looked at are not hackable like the OP's. You have to keep the battery. Unless you can do a pick up in store, will they itemize the tool and the battery separately?

I did not run through all of them. I can tell you the XVJ01Z and XVJ02Z are hackable. I go to home depot > search for specific model > select "Bare Tool" and from the item page it gives me the free gift. Go to check out and jigsaw is 180 and battery is 90.

You have to purchase the battery along with the rest of the kit, then return the battery.

I got it. Don't select the kits as stated above. Select the bare tool and the free battery shows up for some of them. Then it can be hackable. It was not true for all the ones I looked at though.
