I guess it's all depends on what kinda work you use it for. The right side opening seems quite small to me, hard to maneuver. I would spend a little more for a reliable brand like Singer or Brother.

Dont even bother buying any "mini portable" sewing machines. Cheap chinese junk not built for work. Don't cheap out on a sewing machine if you intend to use it like a workhorse.
I got this same model from Amazon. It's okay but I wouldn't recommend it at all. Sure there's a backstitch option, but you literally have to hold it down with one hand while trying to feed through your fabric with the other. It's messy.

I'm pretty sure BROTHER, AND SINGER are made in CHINA. I guess it's ALL CHEAP MADE. SMFH...........
