Side note, the AW does not have DSC and cannot run 10 bit color at 240hz unless you are in chroma sub sampling mode. You have to drop to 144hz for true 10 bit (and interestingly enough it also shows an option for 12 bit at 144hz). I tested this a bit. Color depth and appearance at 240hz / 8bit / HDR is not really noticeably different from 144hz / 10bit / HDR.
Edited for typos.

How do you get $30 off from PayPal? Is there some sort of promo?
Ah okay, thanks for the info! You got a great deal! My Amex blue isn't showing any offers for Dell. Not sure if I should pull the trigger.
Read up on the Amex deal thread, some people were able to trigger the $100 off deal, if they did not had it on their card originally.

I've done a side by side comparison with my Y27q-20 and a 27" TN panel that I gamed and browsed on for many years. At first I couldn't tell the difference besides brightness and colors being very vibrant. Then after a month I pulled up rocket league on my Xbox (1440p 120fps IPS monitor) and on my PC (1080p 60hz TN panel), I was like wth is this, the colors and jaggy pixels were noticeable immediately. That made me look for a new monitor aka this one or the Dell.
In for 1 as well. Just bought the 240hz 1080p version a few months ago but fuk it.
But you can have both with 1440p and 144hz.
Edit: it's already delivered and set up. Really nice monitor.
