im in the same boat, also a Sprint customer. Wondering the same... Can anyone else who have sprint confirm?
That was my case. I was a sprint customer who cancelled the account about 2 months ago. I wanted to open a T-Mobile account to take advantage of this $300 promo at Costco but can not because in tmobile system it shows that I am a recent customer and have to wait for at least 90 days to open a T-Mobile account. Costco can not open tmobile account, Costco can only add lines to existing T-Mobile account.
Over the phone, the sprint reps told me to reinstate the sprint account, then they will add at least 1 sprint line to the account. I then went to T-Mobile store and asked the rep there to migrate/move my sprint account and 1 line over to become a T-Mobile account with 1 line. Then I went to Costco and added lines to my T-Mobile account to take advantage of the $300/line promo. All of this was done in a about 5 hours time on the same day.
For 4 lines. Could you open two separate accounts with 2 magenta lines each to get the rebates. Only problem your monthly bill would be huge. Any other ideas?
I am new to Costco. Does the fact that it printed out 4 forms means one is eligible for 4*300 or it would still be subjected to 2*300 max per account? Thanks.
Despite many self-appointed authorities working the Costco kiosks and others here posting their opinions as fact on this issue, the reality is that is a question that ultimately will only be answered by the rebate processor .
I would look at this way: The terms state 2*300 max per account, so that is a slam dunk. Consider any rebates approved beyond that as a nice bonus, but I wouldn't count on it.
I am a sprint customer with two lines .. can I port out to H2O wireless and port in back to T-Mobile existing friend account to take the advantage of $300 promotion.. will that work ?? TIA

Thank you.. in that way I would still get $600 cash card.. was going to go to Visible anyways so I can just do that after 3 months.. It's a shame that only few days ago it was max 12 per account

I didn't realize this deal existed previously. So you are saying the prior terms allowed 12*300? That is crazy. Probably good that I missed it. I don't even have 12 devices that I could have used for BYOD.
looks like after adding 3 lines, I find one of them is free automatically. so extra $20 per month for 3 lines (2GB on each), not a bad deal (as will receive $900 cash card)
Estimate to pay $200-ish ($140 plus tax/fee, crazy tax/fee) for 11 lines/2GB each (it's $80 base charge for 2 lines + 6 x $10 per regular line + 3 free lines)

So if I'm currently an AT&T customer (with 7 lines), can I port over my lines to TM and the Magenta Max plan at Costco for the $300 promo and also take advantage of the New Customer promos?
As a new customer how can I take advantage of all their recent promos?
A little help would be useful since I haven't switch to another carrier in about 8 years.

I have a maxed out 55+ account. Went to Costco yesterday to look into this deal.
To qualify according to Rep, I would need to go and have T-Mobile open another "account" for me then add a line to it (accounts need a line attached). I would then return to Costco and THEN they can attach another 55+ plan (2 for $70/mo) to this account, which qualifies me for the $300x2 Costco cards to be received in 3-4 months. She couldn't assure me that it wouldn't be another hard pull for the second account, though I realized I have my credit files frozen and maybe that would stop the damage. Once the 55+ account is active on the second account, I can close the "placeholder" line.
I decided it's possible to make some money on this, but it's a lot of hassle for someone with an existing 55+ plan. Running around back and forth to stores, time spent with representatives and upsells during Covid, rebate forms and IMEIs. I always figure conservatively on the length of time before receiving rebate, so that would be possibly 4 months. So, $70 cash x 4 months is $280 investment, to receive $600 in Costco funny money in return. Depending on how much you value your time and patience (and possible effects on credit score), it's an interesting call. I am on the fence.

for $334 ($278+ 56 (tax)). Basically, if everything works out and I get Costco shop card, my cost for a new Note 20 Ultra would be $34.00

1. Am I eligible to add 2 additional lines to get this promotion within the Sprint network?
2. If I am eligible, what would be my monthly bill after I added the lines?
3. Will I be getting the same monthly amount of $100 for five lines after I cancel these 2 new lines in the future?
is the 3rd line free at costco?
