Do you know if they charge restocking fee if I had to open the pack before return? Thanks in advance
I still have a few micro USB devices, and I look forward to the day where I only need one cable to charge everything at my desk.
1) The switch button is located on the bottom. So everytime you change computers, you flip over the mouse press the button and resume. It gets really annoying if you are constantly moving from one computer to the next. In my profession, job requires testing multiple OS and versions. The M720, on the other hand, has the switch on the top of the mouse and makes switching much easier and convenient.
2) Micro USB plug in power. With almost everything I have now transitioned to USB-c, this get annoying as well having to remember to carry an extra micro USB just in case the battery dies.
3) Thee side scrolling buttons and back forward Dutton placements. The forward and back buttons are placed a little higher than I would like. The ergonomics requires active attention, something that annoyed me as well. I found the side scrolling wheels not what it was chalked up to be as pressing down on the middle scroll wheel to move left/right does the same thing in programs like Excel.
Instead of this mouse, I recommend you get the M720 ( Costco recently had it on sale for $19.99 in store). It has most of the feature ( lacks side scrollwheels, built-in battery charging) of the Mx2S but a much cheaper price and arguably better computer switching keys up on top.
The only con for this mouse is the rubbery texture of the mouse housing. I feel like it won't last as long with its cover most likely coming off sooner than later.
