I built my own amplifier based on raspberry pi running moode(https://moodeaudio.org/) 3 years ago, it supports airplay, bluetooth, spotify stream... I listen music every day. I highly recommend you guys to try this DIY. you can save money, build a much powerful amplifier and have fun.

- A Bluetooth 5.0 receiver with both Aptx-HD and LDAC codecs
- A Digital Source Selector that can switch between TosLink (TV), USB (Computer) and Coax (DVD player?) Digital Sources & Bluetooth
- A preamp that controls volume for amps or powered speakers
- A Wireless Remote Controller for all above functions
- A sweet looking cast aluminum box with Oled display and Hi-Res sticker that triggers confirmation bias in audiophiles making everything sound better.
- A 50% off deal (compared to the Topping D50s) triggering endorphins for bargain addicts
- A low powered headphone amp useful in an emergency if your phone isn't charged

So, there's that.

Heads Ups: This comes with a USB power cable but no 5v USB adapter...so you need to provide that. No need for anything fancy. The Windows Driver is posted on the 1mii support page [1mii.com] It is a 7z compressed file, so get a free app to extract that if you do not have one.

I use 12v/3a power adaptor for my x400 board.

I just checked the amazon site, x400 needs 6-26V 3A, up to 2×30W speaks(4 Ohm)
x930 needs 5v 3A, I don't use this

yes, this technically has an amp, but for all intents and purposes, it doesn't have an amp.

True. So emergency monitoring use only on the headphone out. It won't hurt your headphones but they probably will not sound great.

But the rest of the measurements are virtually identical to the $250 Topping D50s, which lacks a headphone out.

Topping is a much better known brand with good customer support...but there is a significant price difference here.
