OP should note that this is for the stapler only...it doesn't come with a battery or charger.

OP should note price in title. Decent deal, I think it's been cheaper with battery deal thrown in or a hack. This is a very good M12 tool though and should be added to every one's M12 collection.

It was, somewhere around $50-$60 range I got mine in some hack. I only really use it on trim-tex beads.

Should work pretty good. You can hold the trigger for bump fire.

Check out some video's https://youtu.be/1f2GhfjDMKQ?t=200

Depending on what you do you might not use it alot but it's worth it's cost when you need it. As I mentioned I use if for Plastic bead Trim-tex. I had to put on a few boxes of Tearaway bead and I was not about use a regular hand stapler to do that again.

Should be noted that neither eBay or Amazon are authorized Milwaukee vendors so you will only have a 3 year warranty based on the date of the tool. Since this tool has been around for several years you may receive zero warranty if the manufacturing date is longer than 3 years of the date you request warranty service. If purchasing from an authorized dealer your warranty is 5 years from the date of purchase (you need to make sure you register your tool with Milwaukee or keep receipt records).

Would this be too strong of a stapler to put up Christmas lights?

From all the m18 fuel and dewalt 20v and 60v tools that I have used, this stapler and the m12 installer are my two favourite tools.
I use it for stapling house wrap and flashing tape to sheating. It's also good for attaching bug screen or wire mesh to wood frame.

That's one of the reasons I bought it for. Works great. I love that tool. Put at least 1500' of lights up with no problems at all

It's not that it's too strong, it's that using a staple gun to put up xmas lights is usually a bad idea. It's easy to miss and pierce the string.

No, you can adjust the depth of your shots so you just need to dial it in before you get going. Once set, you're good to go.
