Odd, this went FP the last few times it hit this price. I doubt this will hit $17 knowing Anker, and given the built in 18650 with CREE... but $20 would seem like a possibility.

No more micro-USB. Anker needs to provide flashlights that take USB-C input for charging.

Micro USB is the absolute worst standard. It is odd that given it's obvious design flaws of not knowing which end is up and the vast superiority of USB C... that the damn standard has hanged on for so long...

Not just that. I've had connection issues micro-USB devices after one too many insertions. Never had such a problem with lightning or USB-C. I think the micro-USB design is more prone to failure. Anyways, not saying it is a deal killer but I am avoiding buying microUSB devices going forward.

Yep... even Garmin's newest $600 bike computer, the 1030 Edge Plus, still uses Micro USB. So, unfortunately, it's gonna be a while before USB C cannibalizes the Micro USB standard...

As long as it remains cheaper than USB-C and Consumers buy gadgets with micro USB, companies will continue to produce products using micro USB.

There were comparable deals with USB-C charging ports but less than 1k reviews on the sellers amazon accounts so posts were removed per slickdeals rules.
