If you remove any paid lines within the first year, the free line loses the promo and becomes paid.

TMO doesn't want people doing what you're wanting to do.

To accomplish it, you would need to:

1. Add free line.
2. Wait a year + one day.
3. Port out paid line to another carrier.
4. Keep paid line active on another carrier for 90 days (to preserve number).
5. Port old number back in on free line.

This whole process has taken you 1.25 years.
My port-in was initiated during T439 promo period and completed today outside of the promo period. Without the port in (with only the added line and traded-in) I was on a bad promo. Once the port-in completed today, the system auto updated to T439 promo in my account --> promotions. Therefore, I don't think it was a requirement the port-ins must be completed by 3/24 EOB, just as long as they are initiated.
YES, you can use this sim in your iPad. I pay for 2 lines and have 3 free lines on promotion (5 lines total)
I have 2 of my free lines in a iPad and a Samsung S4 tablet, with UNLIMITED data.
You have to call them and tell them you want to use the line (promo line) in a tablet but don't want to lose the promotion and you don't want to open a new line for this.
What they did for me, was block the phone service on the line and kept the messaging and data. That way I am able to use it in my tablet.
Every summer my daughter comes and visit from Germany. I take one of the sim card out of my tablet and put it in her phone..
I call T-Mobile and have them unblock the phone service. That way, my daughter has a phone while she is here in country.
When she leaves I call them back and get it blocked again. I have been doing this for close to 5 years. So I know for a fact it works.
Tomorrow I will be calling to try and get another free line.. (Fingers Crossed)
Hope this helps

What's the consensus of TMobile vs ATT?
Had both in the last 3 years. Coverage in my home area slight better with T-Mobile, and some of the places I frequented traveling to, also the same. However, generally urban areas AT&T had slightly faster data. But support, customer service, and of course, PRICE, T-Mobile hands down for me.

In my area T-Mobile wins. I can say that back in the old days... T-Mobile coverage was very bad. With the new 4G LTE bands 71 and 66 the coverage has gotten better and faster. My band 71/66 LTE phones sometimes get faster Speedtest than the 5G phones.

Do you have extra discounts ppl don't know about? The base plan for MagMax is 2/$140. With 20% makes it $112. So how do you even get $110 WITHOUT insider hookup. I'm assuming you're only paying bare minimum 2 lines (the other 4 are free). So yeah, are you sure it's MagMax?
I just upgraded earlier this month from magenta plus to Max

When I got TM I had them match my corporate discount on ATT which is $30.

This is a discount they no longer offer.

I made sure it carried over to the new plan and it did.

So yes I only have 2 paid lines. The rest are free.

My Simple Choice is capped at 5 lines. Anyone figure out a way to add 6th line? Looks like this free line won't work for us unless we switch to new plan.
I believe it's 10lines

All - I just got the deal via speaking to TForce agent on the mobile app and can confirm the following:

1. Line is absolutely FREE. Does not include any additional monthly bill taxes.

2. iPhone SE promo is absolutely FREE. There is currently two offers for the SE, one of which is FREE and the other 50% off. Speak to a live agent and get it for FREE. If you purchase it with directly from the site, it will only reflect 50% off. The rep originally said it did not stack, but keep pressing. I litterally used slick deals and reddit as proof. Show the screen shots of users stacking both promos if needed. He eventually got it confirmed by whoever was above him.

3. Google Voice Port-In is allowed! I repeat, it is allowed.

All I had to pay was $30, which was the tax on the phone. I'll will have to pay $3 later to unlock number from GVoicr prior to porting. This will be done when the phone arrives.

I confirmed every single detail in the above and have everything in writing.

Good luck.
Last one i got in dec does incur $4 monthly tax because we are on simple choice plan. Which is 4lines for $100.

If you are on ONE, the. No.

Anybody using a free line as a secondary line data on iPhone to get the Kickback? I've had an issue where the text fails, primarily in group texts, and I have to resend. Anyone else run into this and figured out how to get it resolved?

Hi everyone. I have 10 lines currently and have kickback on all the lines including the free ones which is amazing. By adding this additional free line should I be scared it will screw things up? TForce tells me that it won't because I'm not changing plans and just adding a line but curious what the experts think

The better part of playing this deal, is to "Stack" on top with Costco "trade-in" phone deal credits AND Costco cash cards for lines. When I did this, I ported in from AT&T and I stacked 3 "trade-ins" - old iPhone SE, iPhone 6s and iPhone 8 for 2 iPhone 11 Pros and a BYOD.

It's all about timing, and reading the fine print.

The people here are not bragging. It's just a difficult deal to play, and hard to explain it all in a few words....
So the Costco rebates that are handled by T-Mobile got approved with the previous free line offer? I know the BYOD cash card rebates are approved since it's handled by another company. Wasn't sure about the Costco promos that had to be entered on the T-Mobile rebate site.

That is the promo deal stacking with the free line.

$830 credit if you trade in a iPhone 8, it must be a new line and must be a port-in line from a different carrier (att, verzion, etc).

I have just added the BOGO line at costco two days ago for the $600 rebate. I plan to add this new line and get free Iphone 12. I should be able to cancel the BOGO paid line/ free line after a year from adding this new line without loosing this new line, right? For the port in number, can I just buy one of the verizon number for porting on ebay? I currently use the samsung A71 5G on one one of the Tmobile line and plan to trade that in, would it work or I have to use a phone that is not on Tmobile network?

Thanks,

So weird. Usually they charge a $10 for SIM card. This time, it's completely free. No shipping or sim card charges. Did this thru website on computer. Anyone else?
