so i chatted with tfroce on twitter and that rep is so quick on the fingers that i simply asked him the differences between TIULFM9 vs FRLTULFM9 and he went and switched me over to TIULFM9 without my permission. then i asked about FF 2 lines on us promo compatibility with FRLTULFM9 and then he switched me over again to that plan without my permission LOL. from my online account, im seeing my hook up, kick back and 4 free lines from last yr are sticking. hook up discount went from $32 to $62 before i even added 9th line.

nevertheless, he was unable to add ff 2 lines on us promo back with FRLTULFM9 even though you said you confirmed couple others had it on their FRLTULFM9 plan. oh well

last thing about google voice # being ineligible. rep also said free google service dont qualify as port in for the iphone deal. however, he checked out the google # i gave him and hes seeing those google voice # as LANDLINE !!! which means landline qualify for the port in. i guess it depends on your google nume whether tmobile seeing them as landline or as voip num
you can only have 1 FF, the 2nd one is replaced with the 4th line. It may be a nonstandard promo too since FF only gives $20 and the 4th line is $10. I have the soc if you want to try. I only want the 4th line since I actually had that and saw $30 credit before hookup added. I just don't know if hookup and 4th line are combinable since the new customers cannot get both.

I ported from Ting vz network and traded in-store. The promo already applied to the account.
Google should be fine, I don't think they can verify after it is ported. Previous port in rebate I was denied for using Google and the rep ask me where I ported from. Told him VZ and he approved.

Is the trade in offer up to $830 good at Costco for either the 11 or 12?

The kiosk rep said it's not and it's only available for the promo there running now for $699 for the 11 pro max

Anyone not have the Free Line (LOU6) not show up on their account yet?

I added the line two days ago and still do not see the promo applied to my account. I tried the "view source code" trick and it doesnt show either. Only thing it shows for the new line is the 20% Insider discount of $6 so all in all my account went up $24.

I have received the prior LOU2 and LOU4 but missed LOU3 Frown

same.
it depends on the rep you get. The rep who changed my dad's account made the mistake and the next one could not fix it. after a while, they noted (hard note!) on my account that the promotions could not be combined so any rep after just refer to that note without even bother going further. After much complaining, a supervisor said they couldn't fix it and the best they could do was offering 3 months worth of fee for the lost line ($90) and call it a day. Anytime i call in for my dad, they refer to that and refused to do anything about it. This is also after i show them another account of which I am also an authorized user and can represent for. they just said it's different for different account due to system set up, nothing can be done. both account have same SOC code
Yes, it will be horrible if T-Mobile rep made a mistake. Sometimes they blame their system and cannot fix it. It's interesting that T-Mobile people cannot override or fix their system issue. Even the rep from executive office cannot override their system. I guess T-Mobile CEO will be an AI robot in the future. Smilie

If you want to do T-Mobile $830 off deal they have to ORDER the phone. They can't sell you the phone in stock at Costco as Costco run different promos.
The only benefit if you want to go that route ($830 off) at Costco is you save the $20 service fee and $10 sim fee

Debating on ordering the Samsung A71 for $99 plus tax. Already added the line so would need to contact customer service ugh. Don't need it other than a backup/gift/sell/trade-in but feel like i should take advantage of adding the line.

Currently have Tmobile One with Plus Promo on all lines, hookup, etc (FRLTUL4LP t-mobile SOC code) and 8 lines with 4 being no cost after adding the latest no cost line yesterday at Costco. It was definitely more difficult today getting the reps to add the OnePlus Promo and kickback on the latest free line.

I know that to add more lines i would have to change to a new soc code but of course hesitant since every Tmobile rep is a potential trainwreck. Been reading how the bill drops once you get to 9-12 lines so I am thinking about it but really don't want to go through the hell of trying to correct problems as are sure to happen.

I guess now is the time to research and do so it gives time to correct the issues and be ready for the next free line promo.

What is the best soc code for me since my current one is FRLTUL4LP? I'm thinking about requesting a higher up manager since they have more privs and know the system better if I try this.

Now I am intrigued to do this add a line as people are saying once you get over 8 lines the bill gets reduced? Anyone upgrade to soc that allows more lines without major errors requiring hours to fix with tmobile reps?

So if it's ordered you don't get the 10% off phones?

This! Listen to this. I opened new lines at costco in the past thinking I could take advantage of the phone offers at tmobile and turned out it wouldn't work

Correct. Basically there is no advantage to getting T-Mobile deals at Costco (besides the $30 savings) unless Costco also is running a similar promo.
Best to do a T-Mobile only deal at T-Mobile store or online.

sure share your 1 FF soc code. but i was referring to FF 2 lines on us promo back in 2016 that was only compatible with TE plan and i did see people posted their account with FRLTULFM9 and retained FF 2 lines on us promo. i just havent had luck on gettin that readd back to my account
