Rip off! What's the use of too many garbage lines with very limited 50gb data? I have mine with 100gb high speed data a month on each line and I only pay 4 lines for $100 including tax and fees.
He's paying less for his 9 lines than your 4 even though he too gets 100GB of premium high speed data.

More lines gives more options. Like for kids, hotspot phone for car rides, spare, "house" phone. Put my folks on 2 of my lines, saves them minimum $70 a month. Etc. etc.

You should be good with trading it in. Costco rebates are technically independent of what T-Mo runs. If you have already submitted the two $300 BYOD forms, make sure you follow up to verify that it is getting processed properly and not running into any other issues.

I believe there was some verbiage in previous deals that the device should be on the network for a certain time, but that is not something Costco can enforce and if T-Mo would share that information with Costco to validate the rebates.
Thanks for your inputs. I can see that the rebate is currently at "Pending". So, hopefully, this should go through.

Also, there may be a legitimate scenario where the phone is broken or something and in that case, if I am changing my phone, there will be a different IMEI for the line and I don't think that should void the rebate processing.

I provided them SIM, so historically it has showed up almost immediately.
I provided my SIM and the number on the new line was active for a day then got suspended after i ordered a phone to that line.

Is this promo still active? tried to add online and there was a $20 a month cost. Don't want to sit on hold if its already over.
It doesn't show "free" as it's a monthly credit.

That may be true. However, in past deals that were similar, some people here and on Reddit were advising to wait 30 days or so with the assigned sim active in the BYOD device before making any changes.

Apparently, the Costco cash card rebate is typically approved at about 30 days, and will show as such on the tracking website. Prior to that it will show as pending. Although the actual cash cards will not be delivered for about 14 weeks, many were saying once the online approval showed, the sim and phone could be used as one pleased.

I don't know if all that is completely necessary, but I am just adding what others have said and done on the topic. It would be nice to know actually what criteria is used and when by the Costco rebate processors. I feel like there are many opinions and theories but nothing completely known for sure regarding the Costco rebates.

Agree - the safe bet is until Costco rebate is approved, but there are scenarios where a device change is needed. But, $300 is a big amount to risk here 🙂

Question for the experts ....

I have a Simple Choice Plan that has a "free" line I added on last free line promo they had.
That's the only free line promo I have on my account ( since it's not really "free" and I did not really need it)
I am however thinking about porting my ATT landline # to my account, and would like to take advantage of the current promos and get a free iPhone SE in the process.
My question is, would I be able to close the free line and add the current free line offer, or would I have to keep the old free line for 1 yr?

Thannks!

The hookup is $54 so the I think the plan is $270 (9 x $30).
The rest looks right.
They will eventually catch on and everyone will go back to their pre 9 line discount. Only thing hopeful for is the Kickback to remain at 9 lines. Kickbacks are rare so they might not catch that.
9 line plan is $310 before Autopay and $270 after autopay

Currently switched to the Magenta plan with 3 phone lines and 1 line for SyncUp drive device for $150 per month. What can I do to reduce the monthly payment? Can I take advantage of this free line offer from t-mobile to reduce it? Sorry new to this

Added the free line (9th line) on Magenta business. I see the promo on the account, but the auto pay and other break down looks messed up. Overall bill amt is lower with 9 lines than 8 lines. I don't know what the hell happened.

guys, stop posting these now. keep it to yourself.

I can not decide if I should get the iPhone SE 64G or the 256G ($50 more). When I look at the selling price on swappa they say it is $282 or $389, respectively. I've never sold a phone and don't know what site is the best price with least hassle/fees. Any thought on this subject is appreciated.

btw, my kids both have an SE so this is only for a backup or to sell.
