I ordered the phone online next day as an upgrade to the newly added line. That's when the line got suspended, till then I could make calls and all.
This happened to me when I upgraded just the phone and was told the system does it automatically for security reason. Since I have the SIM on a current phone and was waiting for the new phone, I just told them to unsuspend the line.

Oh ok, so you did order the phone next day like I did. That's a relief in a way it followed the pattern how the line got suspended. You said you had them remove the suspension, do you see the free promo applied to the new line ?
I have this as well. Ordered the new line, agent processed the phone order and took the port-in info. I asked to activate my own SIM. Now I have a number in the system and a text that a line was added but the SIM is inactive in the phone that I want to trade-in. I will probably call the Port-in team and process the port and then I guess that SIM will be (re-)activated. Funky though, never had that before.

BTW, the $150 BYOD promo at Costco when you open a line is running until 3/25 or so. Could have been 3/28, I forgot to take a picture. Rumor was that this free line deal might stop today, but the reddit page has not updated and it's still a rumor I guess.

it was suspended as i got the tmobile text. i asked the rep what he did and he checked and restored it 20 mins after. my free line promo was gone then came back to my account the next day. i just got my iphone 12 today and iphone promo was added in my account history yesterday. everything looks good so far. i better not see any surprise changes after the next billing cycle. god know what else that rep did to my account

Mine was migrated to TIULFM9. AAL promo was added back along with other free line promos. My account shows AALPROMOB for the BOGO lines from 2017.
Thanks!

BTW, as you likely know, apparently you will need to use one of the newer SIM cards that all seem to say "R15" on them if you want to take advantage of 5G speeds eventually. At least that's what the reps are saying. The SIMs are interchangeable, meaning they all work in all the phones, but the service level you get may depend on the SIM and the phone settings then of course. You can use a non R15 SIM in a 5G phone but won't get the "best" experience, and you could use an R15 SIM in an older phone without 5G antenna, but it won't do you any good in there without the antenna of course.

The new phones all ship with the newer R15 SIMS. The Apple phones from T-Mo seem to have the SIM all already in the tray, the Samsung phones have a complete SIM card in the packaging.

You can transfer a line to another SIM yourself in the account settings, at least in the web portal. Click on the line and then select "change SIM" and enter the new SIM card number and voilĂ . That's also how you could move it to the eSIM in the phone. No need to call in for that!

Unused SIM cards do have an expiration date, and if you deactivate one for a prolonged while it might not be useable again.

I'm currently have 6 lines (4 paid & 2 free) on FRLTULF2, should I request to change to TIULFM9 even though I'm still 2 lines away from the max? 2 lines are One plus promo & 2 are 50% off add a line, also have hookup & kickbacks. The 2 free lines are currently not having one promo plus which I'm working to get.

My google fi port got rejected for the iPhone 12 promo with this new line. I did a google voice port last Sep and didn't have any issues. If anyone has a number to port for this promo, please send me a PM. Thanks.
What do you mean by "got rejected"? Explain exactly how it was rejected... How were you doing the port? Someone told you they won't do the port? They did the port but you got a text saying your NOT eligible for the promo? What in the world is "got rejected"???

Did the free iphone 12 T439 promo in store. Ported in Google Fi number along with phone tradein but EIP promo never applied after the free AAL was attached to the account. Eventually called TMo rep and they said Google Fi is on the list of MVNO's that don't qualify. Went to a TMo store to get my promo fixed and got to see the full list of non qualifying MVNO's from the store rep. Surprisingly, only a handful of MVNO's were on that list including Google Fi. Freedompop, Red Pocket,... were not on the list.

Should I be worried? I got the free line and the $830 credits for iPhone 12 offer. I bought a Verizon number off eBay and gave them the port info through T-Force. Turns out the scammer sold me a deactivated number. I scrambled and have another number to port. Will they give me a hard time? Do I need an excuse? Would it be best to call in and avoid T-Force?

I thought for eSIM you need to call them and get device EID added on their end. Once they added i was able to scan the QR code and activate eSIM on my Pixel 4a 5g.
