How are we supposed to complete port-in when iPhone SE is on backorder?
phone # port in has nothing to do with phone being in stock or not. as long you do the port in within the required time frame, your phone promo should pop up in your account as soon its shipped

2 questions --

1) What is the best place to get a number so that it can be used for port-in ?
2) Does Trademore share IMEI number immediately or you need to wait to get the phone to get the details ?
No good answer for 1. But for 2, you'll get the IMEI once device gets shipped. Usually the device will ship the same or next day.

Does anyone know where we can find the steps to do the $800 iphone trade in deal? I see many posts talking about porting numbers and a list of all the phones we can trade in.

Are there specific steps we have to follow?

Can we port a Google Voice number?

Thank you!

I did this add a line at Costco for the $150 byod rebate which they use the imei to validate. Been thinking of ordering a discounted phone from T-Mobile using the line. I'm hesitant since new phone would be tied to the line with new sim I assume causing Costco rebate to be voided whenever they validate. Anyone do this?

I was able to add a free line directly with T-Mobile today and was lucky to get a great representative. She waived 20.00 fee and gave me a free SIM card. In addition, she stated offer expires today.

The LG G7 looks pretty cheap to me. It's the only one I looked up. Doesn't matter anymore. I already purchased the 8 but for those who are still in it. There are cheaper options
LG G7 is only qualified for $380 credit. Doesn't look like a better option than iPhone 8. Smilie

There's a reason everyone talks about the iPhone 8 Trade in.
The S9 may only cost $10 more, and nobody mentions it Smilie

I did search S9 also. But went with iPhone 8 as S9 price is higher than iP8. Smilie
