Don't be fooled by the $146 price tag. Kidkraft is very poor quality. I ended up returning the set I got. If you have $60 to spend on a train set, I recommend the Hape Busy City set (no table). Even better, wait til the Hape set drops to $40 which is what I did. So much better quality and less frustration for the little ones.

I'll chime in on this, too. Kidkraft is crap. My mother had purchased a few different things made by them for my nieces and nephews over Christmas and every thing I put together by them absolutely was horrible. I don't mean the obvious "meh" quality that kids items tend to be, I mean horrible quality. 100% agree with you.

That set is abysmally tiny. The play surface is less than 2' x 2' which is hardly anything even for a toddler. For the price, it's not worth it.

It would be worse if they had one minority and the had him in police station. At least they just have Karen there.

In seriousness, you are correct. It would be nice on sets like this to include stickers that kids could add to the characters. Things are getting better, but they are not there yet.

Going to chime in to your chime in. Kid craft is really bad quality. Bought a dollhouse for my daughter, saw that it was made of wood so felt that it might be better quality than the other plastic style ones. The furniture broke on day two and the house itself feels cheap and will wear out within a year or two
