So when I see deals for products for them I don't fully understand, I keep my mouth shut.

You'd probably get torched and be on the side of the road gasping for air.
LOL...definitely not a cyclist. A Garmin or Wahoo is the way!
Thanks!

Also, the rear radar is definitely one of my favorite bike gadgets, and I sing it's praises to everyone I ride with.
It works all right for what it does, though about 10% of rides have GPS glitches that throw off the track, miles, and elevation. I find it nice to compare to my previous efforts on that route and/or to see how fast other users ride the same routes.
Now that I've switched, its nice not having your phone in your face on a ride. Its tough keeping yourself from looking down to see who texted or emailed you. Also, the computer has limited controls and big buttons its easy to find while you're rolling, as opposed to a touchscreen. On the other hand, if I'm just out exploring and want to look up a destination, or see where I am on a map, the phone wins every time, and I always end up getting it out to supplement the computer.
And to all the salty gatekeepers in this thread, you know when you're a real cyclist? When you like cycling. Happy riding.
