$8 each seems expensive. The trilogy was recently fifteen with physical media.

For those with various systems, just like the Borderlands games these are 30 fps on Switch vs. 60 fps on PS4/X1/PC.

The collection is also on sale often at $10 on X1/PS4 if you care about better performance over portability.

Just saw this for $20 (Switch) at Target today, too.

These are the lowest prices ever for digital according to Deku Deals.

this is frequently $5 per game and $10 for the collection on PC and the other consoles. i'm sure it will go down to $5 per game in the next sale or two. that being said, $3 isn't too bad of a switch tax if you're dying to play just one of the games specifically on switch

The game requires download of at least 31GB. microSD card required (sold separately). Found that under features

So basically part of the game is on the card. This is basically one of those games where having physical or digital doesn't matter 😑

That's why I haven't bought it. Trying not to encourage this behavior by developers/publishers. I'm old school, I want to pop the game in and it's complete...no servers to rely on and possibility of never being able to play it again when I dig my old switch out of a box 20 years from now.

There's no way the Switch game cards are going to last as long as their previous cartridge based generations.

These use flash memory, not ROM.

The DS and 3DS use similar flash memory and there's already been reports of games not holding up, especially after being shelved for years.
