It's sure a tempting to upgrade from my 2012 Mac Mini, but I keep telling myself to hold out for an M2 Mac Mini. If the storage was bigger/upgradable I might have broke down.

Can you upgrade memory?
Yes, Youtube below. SSD no...but you can always hook up an external to this. Pretty good price I'd say!

Haahh this scam site is still around. Anyone still getting those magazines? I bought my computer in 2002 from them. All the "retail" parts came in brown refurbished boxes. Never again. Couldnt get the rebates because the barcodes didnt exist.
I agree, bad merchant reputation from their CompUSA brick and mortar days, but since PCMall bought them out I take their word the product is the real deal and in the condition it is in. When they were closing they were selling things on clearance brand new at ridiculous prices. Their new price for the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pros were good too.

You really can't argue with this price. I am actually tempted to replace my current 2015 mbp which I use docked in my
Home office setup. On the other hand, part of me wants to wait for another 599 deal for the M1 version and just be done with it.

My marketing department uses these same units. With all the programs they access, these still perform very well. No issues the past 3 years also.

This is a POS computer but for the price. For the things you can really use this for (mail, web, social media, etc), you can use any OS with no difference. With a dead-end in sight (no resale value to speak of soon), this is a disposable box.

If you are the least bit technical and really want the Mac OS, get an Intel NUC for the same price with much better specs and Hackintosh it. The new OpenCore boot loader has now made the install and updates trivial and just like a Mac.
This is by far the dumbest comment I have read in quite a while.
