If we use the last few deals as an indicator the actual ship date is likely the beginning of May.
That was the last time I checked, the market price seems to be about higher now with an average over $2K now, albiet those are prices for cards on hand. I'm going by eBay sold items average price.

I agree, I wanted a 3070 and had an email set for when they launch, couldn't get one online and the nearest microcenter is 2 hours away. If I knew they would sell out in less than a minute, I would have driven. I had a saved search on slickdeals for 3070/80/90 and got a 3080 prebuilt with an i9 for just less than this price a couple months ago. It was an OK deal then, but now I'm happy. The used 1070 I bought a few years ago is selling for more than I paid then lol. The market is crazy, I'm going to give my 1070 to my friend, it's better than the 1650s that are now scarce too.
