You'll need to be more specific. Some of my favorite guitar amps have been pieces of crap, including a ratty old Sears Silverstone, A Pignose, and recently a 25$ craigslist Fender Frontman 25R, which has a fantastic clean tone considering it was only a dollar a watt.

Oh and the non-Union Jack version has about 24 five star reviews on Sweetwater. If my music room wasn't completely hoarded out, I'd be super tempted. Hmmm wonder how the wife would feel about this for the living room...

Well, after watching a bunch of YouTube videos and also getting a coupon for $10 off from eBay for ordering on the app, I decided to pull the trigger. Thanks for the heads up. I think I'll have some fun with this.

Funny that this slick deal is being posted, I literally just received mine last night from eBay,
And thought I had scored some crazy deal or it had been mistakenly priced!
Sounds great with the 10 inch celestion speaker, $329-$359 no way!
But for a $199 I love it, built in reverb and tremolo sounds great!

Almost bought one of these a couple months ago, but decided to get an AC15 for much more $$. This seems like a killer deal if you're in the market for a new amp. Built in reverb and tremolo are great features, and you can probably get at least $200 if you decide you don't like it and want to sell on CL/FB

Saying it is a POS is a little harsh, but this is more of a bedroom practice amp than an actual practice amp (25 or even 50w solid state isn't enough for band practice). Or maybe he's knocking it because it's not a true tube amp. Either way, you'll probably be happy with it judging by the little amps you mentioned above. If someone is after a true retro sound then the monoprice tube amps are very good buys (the one with a 12" speaker would blow this thing away and goes pretty close to this in price when it's on sale - has kind of a fender tube amp vibe).
