What is the obsession with battery operated everything? People think it's somehow saving the world, but the materials and the manner in which they are mined for batteries are extremely problematic for the environment, as well as the people exploited to do the labor under very dangerous and hazardous conditions. And to top it all off, it's more toxic garbage being added into landfills, oceans, and the environment.

Oh, and electric power tools are very underpowered and usually made like crap. Thumbs down
I don't have to keep gas on hand in my garage. That's it. That's my reason.

This. And I can swap into other machines, it's quieter, no messing with carbs and old gas, no oil changes, it's just cool, can power an inverter for portable power... Etc etc

Disagree. You obviously haven't tried any of the 60-80 volt tools. The chainsaw works, no matter what the temperature...no mixing fuel, no endlessly pulling the string. Same with the string trimmer. And the blower. They've got plenty of power. My gas chain saw and trimmer sit unused because, in my opinion, the electrics are better, if for no other reason than they work when you need them, without fuss.

All this. Plus you can just flip it over to sharpen the blade without draining the oil, and you can store it vertically saving garage space.

I switched to electric lawn mower bc it's much lighter than a gas one. I also don't have to pull the cord to get it started or worry about changing the oil. It's also much quieter.

TU, it worked and I used a 20% off coupon from (fastcoupons01.info/20off100/) as previously mentioned. Now I think I have the entire collection, mower, blower, string trimmer, hedge trimmer, and edger and plenty of batteries. All purchased on clearance sales.
You still need the snow blower!

I hope Lowes doesn't mess up the order. The confirmation email says Item # 1296036 which is not the Kobalt edger but the model # is correct.

I got the 80v snow blower, handled 6" wet snow easily, I can imagine some difficulty for 10"+ wet snow, but anything less should be no problem. and when the condition fits, it is much easier than the big gas blower.

I picked up a Trimmer Plus edger attachment for my Kobalt 80v trimmer. Works fine and I don't have to mess with a uni-tasking edger. I guess this is good if you need a battery too for your 80v set.

For the 6A battery, I can mow my small yard 4 times with near 2 hours of run time even with self propell half the time before I need to recharge it. For an edger, I think the 2A battery should run for at least an hour. That would be sufficient for the whole season for edging my front yard.

I just read the Q&A, someone said 70min.
