LG CX/C1 is a VERY mature TV at this point, has the built in channel guide for OTA content, the Vizio does not. The built in speakers are MUCH better than the Vizio, IF you're someone that isn't thinking about a sound bar. The Magic Mouse thing is pretty awesome, I wasn't a fan based on researching, but damn it's awesome to have. The CX is thinner by whatever millimeters.
I bought my CX at $1950 price point but as the C1 is already listed on Amazon and a few other places, I feel like it will dip down to $1850 again at least.
Just my thoughts as a past OLED owner, it's a gen 1 with Vizio. I def wanted to like it, especially since I bought it at the $1499 price point, but glad I switched.

So, if I buy a digital antenna the LG CX will have a channel guide for it? Anyway to use the built in guide to DVR OTA stuff to an external drive or usb drive?

1. You use an OTA antenna
2. You use the TV's internal speakers
I am going to bet the typical OLED buyer uses a service such as Direct TV/Cable and that the TV is part of a home theater system ( or perhaps a sound bar)
You use your TV differently than I think most that buy OLEDs will

Yeah exactly. Who buys an oled and then doesnt use a home theatre setup or at least a soundbar. I understand being frugal but if that's the case, why get an oled to begin with. Not like OTA stuff is even going to look better on oled bc the source signal is not 4k and compressed

What I care about is will this TV look comparable to a LG or Sony model, keeping in mind the the others are $500-700 more (depending on size). Or even the LG BX which is only $300 more. VRR is not concern of mine as it apparently is with some people, I just want the best image possible at a particular price point.
FYI, 4k OTA is popping up around the country, and OTA is not compressed unlike cable/satellite.
