Everyday price
Price fluctuates between $21 to $30. This isn't the lowest, but a good price

Edit:
I was looking at CCC "all time".....which fluctuates between the prices i mentioned. Looking at the last year or less, its been this price.

No you are right. I have only ever seen these for $21. Includes Home Depot and amazon. $21 is the normal price and it's not a deal. If amazon truly fluctuates, then buy them for the everyday price from Home Depot and get 90+ day returns.

Not to mention this deal post is showing the lineman's pliers not the combi pliers that are being sold (update: edited by OP to show correct pliers now). Show me the lineman's for $21 and it'll be a deal...

"These combo pliers require 35% less effort than with conventional combination pliers." Trying to figure that claim out.
The design of these looks pretty conventional, i.e. two halves with one pivot point, with typically shaped handles.

Is there an "International Pliers Testing Institute" (IPTI) that verifies this kind of stuff?

I know it's Knipex (and therefore beyond question with lots of folk here). But as a fan of physics, I'm just curious...

According to Caml the price has been $21.90 for the past year, but before that it did fluctuate higher.

I believe the diameter of the pivot is smaller so it can be moved closer to the cutting jaws.

Agree. And the thumbs keep going up with people not looking into it nor reading the comments. Bogus.

I wasn't aware of the brand and I was thinking about a similar tool on Harbor Freight. In for one. Thanks.

Perhaps they mean it takes 35% less effort to sell them...

I just looked at the price history and it has literally been exactly $21.90 almost every single day for the past year on Amazon

This is not a slickdeal, it is yet another regular priced Amazon item posted here, just like happens constantly for the past ~6 months on this site. I don't know what's up with it.

You are correct. I was looking at the "all time" price history that goes back yeaaaaarrrs.
Looking at the last 12mo its been this price 99% of the time.

Marketing = Borderline lies 24/7... No institute. Someone put a wet finger up and came up with it...
