Downsides: not adjustable and bounces around if you try to use it while standing. Barely (unsafely) holds the 15"+ heavier machines.
I think I paid $25+ each on sale during peak covid demand. Worth it for kids online but purchase wireless keyboard and mouse. Adults can use the setup also if you prop up the stand. I use a few hardback books to raise the stand when I borrow one of the stands from the kids.
