I have a corded rotary tool by a different brand, but it starts out at 8000 RPM, like this dremel.
8000 is a lot better because you can gently push the nail onto the rotary tool and there's less vibrations that travel into their toes. The nails grind down a lot faster too. The chihuahua wasn't happy with how loud it was but she started going to sleep when we were doing her nails this time.

FYI I tried to register it online and the 8100 wasn't on the drop down list. So I called Dremel and the woman said the 8100 wasn't on the list because it's being discontinued.

some say quality is bad or not powerful?
$36.00 4volt Chinese made Dremel
ITS the SAME components. Ok if it was the 8 Volt Dremel. It's like the difference between Heinz Ketchup and Store Brand Ketchup. They make a batch for Heinz. Clean the equipment and make a Batch of Ketchup for the Store brand. In the same factory using the same equipment.
Not all Chinese knockoff tools are equal.
Certainly, not all brand name tools are the equal of the knockoffs just because they are made in a factory in China. There are massive differences in quality. Made in China can be garbage and in some cases, it can be excellent.
Heinz ketchup is way better than most generic brands. We get the idea, but that's a terrible example... and actually disproves the point of argument. LOL
It's definitely not ebay generic junk. Will have to see how it holds up
BTW, the price went up to $43 tonight for me... pick up in store only, no delivery available.
