The way you want to look at it is, don't think of it as a flagship. Think of this as a mid-range to upper mid-range phone. For ~$400, you get a lot of phone for not a lot of money. It also uses a lot of the latest tech/trends if you're into that. Some people suffered from the green tint. I was worried about mine when I got it, but I've never had this problem. I also got one for my mother, who also has not had any problems with it. There are no issues with the curved display that I've encountered so far. Like someone else mentioned, the only inconvenience is that this phone is very tall. It will slip out of your pocket more than you'd like. But I can also say that even though I've dropped it many times (not very high, maybe a few feet from the ground), it has not failed, nor has it cracked. I wish they stuck with a traditional fingerprint reader - the in-screen fingerprint reader can be quite slow sometimes.
I wish that Motorola would stand behind their products and offer more updates and a clear update schedule. I think this is the biggest drawback, especially if you don't tinker with phones and just leave it stock. However, if you like to root and install custom roms, this phone has an official lineageOS 17.1, which will hopefully keep the phone relatively up-to-date as the years go by. Related to the software, I have T-Mobile, which has stand-alone 5g. Although this phone supports 5g, it currently does not support SA 5G. I believe this phone is capable of it, but just needs to be unlocked from the software side, which like I said, is lacking.
So in summary - overall a fantastic phone and it's great to use, although there are a few inconveniences that can easily be overlooked. However, I worry about limited updates from Motorola

3. I don't know the OP personally but I'd say like most of us here, there's a 99% they didn't get anything in return for sharing this deal. Saying that someone should be ashamed of themselves for posting is not only exaggerated but just plain stupid.

5. Instead of talking shit, why don't you go post a deal for a brand new unlocked phone from a reputable brand at this price that has better specs?

Is it pretty much software update that we can expect on this phone? Motorola has promised but failed to deliver on the updates - so don't expect this phone to get to Android 12. If this is the case, then this phone is not a good buy at all.
If I could just get the dang bootloader unlocked for lineage, I wouldn't even be tempted to upgrade it.

Would be curious to know how they function during actual usage if that's the correct phone.
I need to start thinking about a new phone sometime soon. Still using an AT&T LG V20 on Cricket with Lineage OS 17.1. It runs like twice as fast on Lineage as it did on the stock-based ROMs, but Lineage doesn't support VOLTE, so when they kill 3G in like 8 or 9 months it's going to be real painful to have to deal with the sudden massive performance drop when switching back to a stock-based ROM in order to retain usability of the device as an actual phone.

I bought this phone shortly after it was launched on Bestbuy and it was on Slickdeals too. $350 after activating it with Verizon. I had bought 2 of these phones.
Anyways, come last November, I did have to send the phone in for replacement to Motorola as I was experiencing screen problems as mentioned by other reviewers. They were easy to get hold of, the RMA process was pretty easy.
The replacement phone even came with a new screen protector from Motorola. My phone has been good after replacement and the other phone never had a problem to begin with.
