SDers, if you want a cheap but decent lav, get a $30 J-mic 044 in the jack of your choice (TRS, TRRS, etc) and skip the bottom-of-the-barrel junk.

I have a OnePlus 6 that is still working great (just replaced the battery), 256gb storage, 8gb RAM, etc. with a headphone jack. At some point I'll upgrade and lose that, however. I don't use it much, but every once in awhile, I'll throw in some wired headphones when I want people to see I'm listening to the phone (and not to disturb me. Even then, it doesn't always work lol.)
Of course, even if you don't have a 3.5 mm jack, most phones accept a dongle, such as the USB-C to 3.5 dongles or lightning port. We have both of those in my house for other phones owned by other family members.

You obviously don't follow phones at all (not that I blame you), but there's more models than you think rocking a jack... Including recent Pixels most notably.
This "deal" sucks though.
If you are putting anything onto the internet or care about quality spend a few bucks more.
