T-Mo native coverage only, but nice find!
Nope, it's T-Mo's full coverage. T-Mo does not have "native coverage".

With the band 66 & 71 additions, they are strong in rural now too. To access these bands, make certain your phone has them.

Explain why they still have "Partner" coverage areas on their maps?

Clueless here...do only newer phones have capability of 5g? I got an s7 edge
Yes, only new phones because 5G requires a different radio that operates on different radio bands than 4G

Simple Mobile has been one of the worst cell phone companies I had to deal with in the past.

Their service is all right if everything works, but if you experience any problems and have to call customer service be ready for a nightmare experience.

One time they cancel my service without any notification and I tried to contact them asking about what happened and their rude customer service told me I went into a "roaming area" and that was a violation of their terms of service when I never even travel outside of state. Had to argue with a "supervisor" that hang up on me and contact 3 different people to finally get someone to reinstate my service, which took them 2 weeks to "investigate" the issue.

And their reviews are accurate about their promotions, they will do everything they can to not honor any of their promotions. Just a heads up.

Is there an expiration or date you have to activate it by?

The Sim Kit is the device. It is confusing but you buy the sim kit for a compatiable phone.

I thought they had responsive online chat for customer services, didn't they?

There are areas that T-Mo does partner or ride on a local carrier (likely At&t) but I believe Mint and the other mvno's also have access ability too. Maybe someone can confirm this? I've been across many States with Mint and had a signal everywhere my gf did with her At&t service.

"Text BYOP to 611611 to check your phone's compatibility"

I am currently on Mint plan. Response received to Text: "Sorry, this service is not available for your service plan."
Does it mean my device is not eligible? I am sure my device is compatible.

Similar deal available on their Unlimited plan too - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YZW61LK

Costs $50, but you get $50 back as an Amazon gift card. Needs to be activated by April 15.

I'm guessing the confusion is the fact they mention "device" multiple times in the conditions/instructions. In this case, the SIM card is the "device", but that's not overly clear.
They didn't send me the gift card from the previous promotion.
