I suppose this doesn't work with the plastic and metal staples used for wiring?

Don't forget to get the $5 coupon for home depot when you sign up with your email. https://www.homedepot.com/c/coupons. I added some staples to get over $50.

Thanks. I have a 1/4" stapler but it tends to sink too far into whatever I'm stapling, so this is perfect.
Is it good for nailing on outdoor fence? Does anyone know the main purpose/usage of this nailer?

What do people use these for? I looked it up and Google says the main use is upholstery. Are you guys all building couches or something?

Personally, if you want that fence to last I would use an impact driver and use screws. As the wood loosens over time staples tend to come out and screws don't in my experience.

I like to use staples as a way to hold wood together for glue to set.
Yay for another tool I just got, when I was trying to get away from Ryobi to get on just one battery system (Ridgid) but just so many good Ryobi tool deals!

Yes, main use is upholstery. I just made a stool and used one to staple the fur cover on the top. I've used this for corner stapling smaller wall canvas art as well. You won't actually be using a staple gun to "build" items as it won't have enough strength to hold up over them.
In my opinion, I'd you haven't used a staple gun in the last few years... don't waste your time on the deal. Even though it's a good
Price, you could honestly get this exact model from direct tools or eBay in the future for under $60 on a normal day. So
You're ultimately saving $10-$15 max on this deal

That would be a nailer. You definitely don't want to use a stapler for either.
