Has not been my experience and been doing this every year for almost a decade. Easy submission done under 5 min. Rebates always came and immediately exchange for Amazon gift card (entering custom amount) which never expires.

One final update for me. I just got my $20 prepaid visa (it's a picture of one anyway... LOL) for the 2x 5QT 0w40 European Formula I bought from Wal-Mart. I purchased them online, had them delivered, submitted the rebate as 2x 5QT 5w30 Full Synthetic since the 0w40 wasn't listed, it was approved quickly, and now I have the money.

Painless process IMO. I don't personally know that much about oil (or cars\motors in general) but if this oil is as good as I'm told it is, this deal is a no brainer.

My re-submitted claim was approved 4/13/21. I requested a physical VISA card, Account shows Paid 5/10/21. Wating for card to arrive by snail mail.

This also works for Extended Performance 0W-20 5qt for $9.37 after rebate. It's on sale (Rollback) at Walmart for $24.37, at least when ordering online for store pickup.

I see an envelope from Mobil Promo Rewards Center in today's Informed Delivery. Mailed from Coppel, TX.

You need to enter a 4-digit year on the activation site. The card has 11/21 (on mine), but you need to enter 11/2021 on the site.

I assume you did an online order rather than a pickup. So here is the corporate headquarters of walmart:

The rebate for this is a mess: it took a month to get a virtual Visa and the code didn't renew on the website so I've had to make several calls to try and get this fixed.

The two Mobil rebate reps were useless.

When I finally spoke to a rep with MyPrepaidcenter.com (877.610.1075) and asked that a Visa card be sent to me to fix this, they said it it would cost me $3 for a physical card. No thanks.

These rebates worked much better when Mobil sent you a check.

When they make it this tough to redeem, I guess most folks walk away and they pocket the rebate.

I'm hoping other SlickDeal users are as stubborn as I am and make these clowns pay-up.
