A question and a comment. Based on area calculation, 2*24 monitors (16:9) would be equivalent to a 38" 21:9 monitor, correct? Refurbished product warranty on their site shows 90-days. I believe if you use a Visa Signature or MC World card, you can add a year of warranty (at no cost).
2*24 monitors at 16:9 would be 32:9 (double the horizontal aspect). the diagonal of that would be about 43".

Online reviews show VIP Outlet as horrible. From sending wrong products, no products, not honoring warranties, fighting returns until warranty time is over.

If you buy make sure you ONLY use a CREDIT CARD, not debit card.. Based on what I read, I would ot trust them with a new product much less a refurb..

depends - if you're happy with the costco monitor (no noticeable shortcomings or defects, etc.), then i'd say keep it. based on my short research with these budget VA monitors, it seems like there's quite a panel lottery in terms of ghosting, smearing, out-of-the-box picture quality, etc.

and considering these are refurb, it's possible that they could be returned units due to the original owners not being happy with them for one reason or another.

It's slightly less than 2x normal monitors, but is nice not to have the break in the middle. You will have to adjust to a slightly smaller overall work space, but can have bigger windows.

Been using one for years and like the switch. For gaming it is great on titles that use it. You probably can't drive new AAA titles with all graphics on at 3440 at 144hz, but older titles possibly.

Really? I bought 2 laptops and an iPad in the past year and they've all been like new. These monitors seem to be getting cheaper.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

Just a heads up for anyone considering buying from VIP Outlet, they are a very shady company.

I purchased a computer from them with some of the advertised components removed. Someone not knowledgeable might have plugged their monitor into the available video port and had no Idea they were running on integrated graphics, while the GPU and some RAM were removed. They put in new expansion slot plates to cover where the GPU output ports were.

So when they advertise that products are fully tested, you can take that to mean that they are recovering/creating as much profit as they can from "refurbished" products. In my case that meant them pulling a valuable GPU from a system (obviously probably for resale), and then disguising that and advertising it and selling it as complete.
