To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

I don't work for Tmobile.

But, my understanding is that if you pay off the phone early they will NOT give you any more monthly credits.

TRUE STORY.... so I had a OnePlus 6T... got some kind of tmobile promo and got 24 months of bill credits. Just before I was billed for the very last month I jumped onto the Samsung 20 people's edition and I said, my last credit is going to be billed in 5 days but this promo will end in two days... can I pay off my 6T in full and still receive my last bill credit and trade in that phone for the Samsung S20 FE 5G?... They said yes. SURE ENOUGH, I was not given my last monthly credit... had to bitch and complain to get it but it was not easy. They told me if you pay off your phone early you loose your monthly credits.
Quote from Silverball :
Your understanding is incorrect. You can payoff the EIP and still receive the credits. Just don't cancel the line the EIP is on. I've done it several times and have had no issues with receiving the credits.
There's your answer.

Pay it off early and you can SIM unlock your phone (after 40 days.) Bill credits move to Account level. Just don't cancel your EIP associated line within the 24 months or you will loose your account level bill credits. Talk to t-mo customer service ... if they don't resolve then keep bumping the issue up until someone with more technical expertise gets involved

Does this mean my 2.5 GB simple choice plan will get unlimited data? When would this go into effect? Because I really need that right now as I've used mine up for the month lol

Same here... I've got 4 free lines and have been swapping out SIM's to keep up with data usage =P. All limited high speed data plans should get unlimited data (probably Essentials plan.) Not sure about pricing though...

The credit will keep on applying until end of the be term. Provided you keep the line.
Great, so it would continue to apply at line level and not account level, correct?

No one knows for sure but the reddit thread seems to believe that the free unlimited data will be a data option you can choose on your plan. So hopefully when it goes live, you'll have a $0 cost unlimited option that you can choose in place of the current $15 option selected now.

So that's the thing. 2 years ago, I had 8 lines and I paid $15/mo to get unlimited 4G for that line because the user constantly goes over 10GB LTE. Then I received the text that my lines were getting the free unlimited high speed; it turned out 7 lines got the free upgrade and that line didn't since I already have the unlimited 4G (though I pay $15/mo) for it. If this promo is similar, I better unenroll from that $15 data option or else I may not get it again; but I want to make sure also because once I unenroll that data option goes away and I won't be able to get it back without going through a lot of trouble with T-Mobile CSR; it's a real PIA.

What happens to remaining credits, once you payoff the EIP?
You will keep getting the monthly credit until the end of that promotion.

If your main line is one of the ones that has free jbl data, you can most likely cancel the paid one and ask a rep (may take a few tries) to apply same soc as other lines. All the best

Iphone 11 with 64gb UNLOCKED for $460

Yes is used, but at least you get an unlocked phone and none of that Tmobile crap, you can use with any carrier, any plan, prepaid, whatever, etc

I bought the 7 plus Unlocked with 128gb from Gazelle in 2018 for $350 and still kicking fine

Literally the money you save with prepaid plan VS pospaid, gets you a new or newer unlocked phone in 2 or 3 years
How much you pay in your prepaid plan? I pay less than $15 per line on my tmobile postpaid family plan.

NAHHHH YOU NEED A POSTPAID PLAN WHICH IS $60 A MONTH AND THEY GIVE YOU 50GB DATA AND ONLY THEN YOU QUALIFY TO TRADE IN PHONES AND TO GET BUMPED TO UNLIMITED

fark THAT

RIGHT NOW IM AT $40 PREPAID A MONTH AND GET 10GB DATA BUT IF i SWITCH TO UNLIMITED PREPAID IS ONLY $50 A MONTH WHICH IS BASICALLY THE SAME SHIT TO THEIR $60 POSTPAID BUMPED TO UNLIMITED

AND THEN ILL BE STUCK WITH $60 A MONTH

JUST BY SWITCHING IM PAYING LIKE $20 MORE A MONTH WHICH IS $480 IN 2 YEARS lol

LITERALLY PAYING MORE FOR THAT SHIT PHONE 5G OR WHATEVER IPHONE TRADE YOU MAY GET FOR HALF THE PRICE, LITERALLY YOU PAY OFF WHATEVER SAVINGS YOU OBTAINED, SO IN MY CASE IT WOULDNT WORK

JUST SWITCHING TO $60 PLAN FOR 2 YEARS, IM WASTING $480 WHICH IS MORE THAN THAT 5G ANDROID AND ABOUT THE SAME DISCOUNT YOU GET FROM AN IPHONE 12

LMAO
So find someone who is on a tmo family plan and jump on their plan to save money & get more data.
