To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

If don't mind the hassle of selling your V20 and V30 on Swappa, you should do and pocket the ~$200. Then spend $10 on a cheap cell phone from Amazon [amazon.com] to trade in for the A32.

It is not worth hanging onto those LG phones if you're not going to us them. There have been hundreds of thousands of those phones sold ... they're not going to have any value as a collectors item just because LG is getting out of the phone business.
Well I do already have a couple of old working phones that I can trade in. 2 very old att non smart phones & a Att moto Atrix HD, plus a boost mobile stylus phone & a Simple Mobile LG Fiesta phone that I currently use with safelink wireless.

cause you're on a grandfathered plan or/and family, I clearly said this promotion is only really good for grandfathered postpaid

I'm a single person who always had a single line

I pay $40 a month but that's because I'm not grandfathered and I never had postpaid. I always had prepaid. Whether your grandfathered plan gives you more than my current plan is IRRELEVANT

Its a grandfathered plan

We are talking about current plans. The prepaid current plans are the most affordable current plans T mobile has. You get unlimited data for $50

For you to get unlimited data on postpaid, you have to pay $60 right now

For people in current prepaid, doesn't make sense to switch to postpaid for this promotion, as whatever savings you get on a trade-in, would be cancelled out by the extra money you'll pay each month on postpaid
Nobody cares about tmobile prepaid. Move on, this isn't for you.

So I'm still using unlock S10, but I'm getting spotty singal when I travel. Will a 5G phone improves the coverage? Or just mainly speed upgrade?

cause yall broke people who need to finance phones and don't have the money to pay up front the full price
Quit griping here about being "forced" to use prepaid. I have the new Magenta plan and pay less than $10 a line, including taxes. My single brother enjoys one of those lines. I put my folks on two of the lines. Plus my entire family for about $30 more than your single line.

I'm not leaving TMO anytime soon. . .so yes I finance phones sometimes, if it's the best deal in the end. If not I buy in full from Sammy direct. But yeah $90 for 9 lines, plus the ability to trade up every year or two and not pay anything but taxes on the new phones. . .which itself is worth more per month than the cost of service.

Might want to find someone to share a plan, etc. Go to Mint for $30 a month unlimited, etc. etc. SO that you're not left out. Best deals are for groups, or singles on MVNO's. . .

I hate it when you trade-in your device and T-Mobile give back a 24-months credit.
Me too. Years ago a friend and I did this from two different T-Mobile stores and we both did not get the credits in our bill. I brushed it off because it was a credit for adding a new line or something. Not sure if my friend ever looked into his.

The only ones really benefitting from this are the people with grandfathered plans who still pay $15-20 a month, they're the ones really benefitting from this, everyone else is not, not even current $60 postpaid plan members

The prepaid plans give you more data for less money. Just by switching from the $60 postpaid which has 50gb data to the unlimited $50 prepaid plan, you're saving $240 in 2 years which can go towards a new phone. Only a retard buys a new phone every 2 years.

That's a great way to stay broke just to look cool.

By switching to prepaid, in 5 years, you'll save $600, you buy a newer phone from Gazelle and keep it for another 5 years.

Once Apple stops supporting the iPhone 7 plus, that's when I'll buy a newer phone, so that September 2022.

Phones continue and continue to go up in prices, but retards continue and continue goign into debt and becoming broke for them just to look trendy and cool

You dont need the latest phone
I started a new Magenta plan in December 2019. Taking advantage of various promotions that have appeared on Slickdeals, I have 12 lines on my family plan and pay $210/mo so $17.50/mo per line. And I could be doing even better if I didn't max out my family plan so quickly. By being a post-paid customer, I was able to take advantage of a couple of the free line offers (I missed out on the last 3 free line offers because I'm at the 12-line limit so there are others with recent accounts doing *much* better than I am). I'm paying $17.50/line for unlimited data, get free Netflix, 1 hour GoGo inflight wireless, free international roaming data, etc. And I upgraded from the old Magenta to the new Magenta plan for free so now I get 100GB of high speed data before possibly being de-prioritized on a busy tower. I would be paying so much more and getting much less if I were on a pre-paid plan. And yes, I'm happy to get four free A32 5G phones because I'm not leaving T-Mobile in the next two years since going to another carrier or going pre-paid would cost me so much more.

'Course if you don't have any friends or family to take advantage of the family plans, you're out of luck. You might want to look into Visible, hit up reddit to join a Party Pay plan, and pay just $25/mo for unlimited data.

you're comparing family plan vs a single plan

I'd rather stay in a single plan on my own terms without having to depend on the bullshit of others. I'll probably switch to the $50 unlimited prepaid plan, but right now I have only 10gb with the $40 plan and I never use all of it.

Every month, I'm averaging like 6 or 7gb tops.

The good thing about the $40 prepaid is that you get unlimited music that doesnt count towards your data

If I stay with the $40 plan, in 2 years, I saved $240 which could go towards a newer unlocked phone like an iphone 11 or 12 from gazelle

yeah not everyone has a family or friends that want to be on the same plan, but ive always been a one man operation, id rather do things alone without having to depend on others

Everything you said I already knew and is common sense, of course, with a family plan you will get more.

I was comparing a single prepaid plan vs the single postpaid plan that T mobile currently has. In that case, the prepaid plan gives you more data for less price if you don't give a shit about 5g.

I wasn't comparing current prepaid plans to grandfathered postpaid plans either.

Everyone and their mother knows that single lines always get farked in the ass

t mobile has one of the best prepaid plans especially because of their unlimited music streaming

I have apple music, so Im always listening, thats all i do on my phone

im not playing games or watching movies, i do that on wifi at home lol

makes no sense for me to pay for more data when i only use 6 or 7gb a month
