Pause the video, maximize it and you can clearly read the fine print at the bottom its right on the screen cap you attached bur you have the play bar there need to exit or hide that it will then show basically use a laptop not mobile maybe and maximize.and watch it
..its there as of 04.07...
I believe the 4/7 pertains to lines that as of 4/7 does not have unlimited data will get upgraded (if you already paying for unlimited data, you can't drop that after 4/7 and expect it back for free). It is what makes the most sense and goes in line with promos in the past (with previous free line promo, you couldn't drop a line in the past 90 days and then re-add it for free). I don't think it pertains to future lines added after 4/7, but what do i know. The tone of the video is that they want everybody on unlimited at tmobile. So are they going to not allow you to add any more lines?

The point is 4/7 has already passed, you can't go back in time. So whatever the case is, why bother speculating and guessing. Don't risk messing with your account and wasting your time and just wait until 4/18. Whatever you can do after 4/7 will likely be the same after 4/18 so why waste everyone's time by asking the same questions over and over?

Yes as soon you have them before April 7. It doesn't matter if the lines are free lines or paid lines.

@appleguy82, lol, you trying very hard to massage the T&C to get your new added line (4/7 and later) unlimited high speed data.. I don't think so but I can be wrong, you'll find out on the 18th. I don't think there should be a debate who's wrong and who's right, we all find out on the 18th, we don't believe anyone at this point. Let's just hope all us legacy grandfathered subscribers finally get a bone thrown our way for all our lines

i hear ya.

If this goes to how I hope it goes and all of my paid and free lines that I have had before 4/7 get upgraded from 2gb to unlimited for as long as i keep the plan, then i will be more than happy to do any promotions with 2 year bill credits because i will stay with T mobile for well over 2 years.

For the iPhone 12 free with iPhone 11 trade in, will an iPhone 11 with a cracked screen qualify? I see there can be no cracks with the Samsung phone but don't see anything for the iPhone. Thanks!
As you can probably guess, an iPhone with a cracked screen will not be accepted for trade-in.

Only T-Mobile understands the difference between uncarrier vs 24m bill credits !, lol.
Don't forget to read the terms ..
If you cancel your line before receiving 24 bill credits, you may owe up to the full value of your device (e.g., $829.99 – iPhone 12 64GB);

Contract phone deals were pretty straight forward ! Max $275 for terminating contract.,
But the plans were more expensive

You will keep getting the bill credits even if you pay off the EIP early. Having multiple bill credits per line used to be a problem, but someone on Reddit mentioned this was recently resolved. ymmv.
Sorry
But do you mean that if i paid the remaining balance off on the new phone with trade in after a year for example i still gets the bill credit on the phone for the second year?

Yes. I have three concurrent bill credits on the same line going at the same time now for previous deals. You can pay it off and sell it, trade it in etc and still get the remaining bill credits you're owed as long as you maintain active service.

Just now finally got kickback added via t-mobile app chat on my 8th free line.. tried multiple times last few weeks with no luck so ymmv!

Regarding Kickback, The account level was already there, the only place it was missing was the line. If it wasn't onthe account level you wouldn't get any kick back discounts.. per rep for what it's worth.

This same rep also told me I would have to move to Magenta to have more lines which we know is false. See below:

No worries! I just wanted to make sure we looked at it all, so your current plan, is no longer available so you would be moving to a Magenta Plan to get more than 8 voice lines. Magenta has enough kick butt features that I actually moved off of my old old plan.

You would lose kickback, the free lines and device promotions would stay in place
I have been unable to get them to add on free lines. Check your bill once it comes out to ensure the discount reflected.

I also was happy when I had kickback added to free lines BUT no point in fighting for it. You will see it on your bill and think your getting it but the $30 in credits is all you will get if you do the math

This is correct kickback on free lines doesn't actually reduce bill. It is worth getting apparently once at 9-12 lines as some report the system on those socs do deduct potential kickback in free lines. I'm at 8 currently so can't verify

Free lines have to be added when t-mobile does the free line promos. Used to be extremely rare but over last year they seem to be doing every few months.
