To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Does the iphone trade in need to be prestine condition or just power on?
doesn't have to be pristine, just no cracks, and the water damage indicator also has to be clean.

For the iPhone 12 trade-in, anything below 11 is going down in value starting 4/18 until 5/1. Curious if the trade-in values will go up again later in the year. I was hoping as XR goes down in value to purchase (under $200), it would be the lowest model to get top-tier phones end of this year or next year, as 8 series gets pushed down. But, was not expecting it to happen soon that minimum is iPhone 11 to get a 12. Glad I got rid of my 8+ last month and got 12.

@DNARNA, so there we have it we won't qualify for the unlimited high speed data upgrade on our line with the paid unlimited high speed data addon. It's coming from Master Yoda so I'm pretty sure that's the case but I hope he's wrong. The good thing is I didn't drop the addon. It's a PIA to try to get it back. I may still try to drop it after the 18th if I don't get the free upgrade and try to use one of the SOC data addon codes to get it for $0; but I'll do that after I enable binge on on that line so the family member who uses that line won't go through his quota right away
What do you tell the representative to get it back?

Do you tell them an SOC data add on code, and they manually add it for you?

So can anyone answer the question what will be the TOTAL out of pocket costs at the T-Mobile store to get the Samsung deal starting the 18th? I assume it's in store deal only.

I switched over from Cricket to T-Mobile three months ago and am on the secret $20 a
month unlimited talk/text 5gb data plan they don't advertise. My current phone is the Cricket LG Fortune. Btw RIP LG who will not be making phones anymore Frown
that was actually a great phone, outlasted my I7.
Keep in mind this is for postpaid only, not prepaid.

deals will be available in store and online. online you have to ship the trade-in yourself. in store you just give your trade in to staff. they will inspect it and ship it for you.

Wherever you buy phone from store they just charge you $30 ($10+$20) no matter what.
so if we do online; there is not $30 charge ? also; I did NOT have good experience with the Store Employees and if they make an error; it is very hard to correct it...

why we need to pay the $20 fee and $10 for sim? can we just say hand me the phone and we don't need assistance and keep the old sim card?

From the Wiki:
For the iPhone 12, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max - $830: iPhone 11 Pro Max, 11 Pro, 11,
or $415: iPhone XS Max, XS, XR, X, 8 Plus, 8, 7 Plus, 7, 7.

It is not clear if the above is for new lines as well as upgrades. Currently, new lines get full $830 credit from 8 Series onwards, which ends when this new promo starts on 4/18. Currently, upgrades for existing lines are 50% off with the same trade-in until it becomes the same for both new lines and upgrades, based on this new promotion.
