To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

You are correct... that's why your point of waiting until you get the actual new phone before shipping your trade-in phone is very important.

But as long as there is a phone in stock, or they are able to fulfill the orders, this should run for the entire year...
I traded my phone online and on the trade in shipping label, it said it expires on 5/19 which is 30 days from today. My A32 saids estimate shipping date between 5/4 - 5/18. If they ship on 5/18 and arrives after 5/19, am I suppose to ship my phone in before the phone arrives to me? Also, is 5/19 postmark date or when they need to receive my phone by?

I'm on a grandfathered Simple Choice plan with Unlimited Data + 10GB Mobile Hotspot per line. I'm paying $60 before tax - even with taxes included I'm paying $100. That's an average cost of $10/line. I've taken advantage of so many of these T-Mobile trade-in promos (and then paid off the phones) that my bill is actually negative every single month.

Yes, prepaid in general can be a better deal, but there are definitively cases where postpaid customers are getting a better deal. It's a mixture of good slickdealing and dumb luck.

LOL..sure. Lets have a peek at that Magenta bill for 4 lines. Total cost.
https://www.t-mobile.com/content/...r_2019.pdf
so 4 paid lines of magenta would be $160 w/ autopay but since they offered 1 line free for new customer so it would be $140 per month w/autopay.
I was on SC before ($100 for 4 lines + tax ~ $120 per month) but data only 2.5GB free upgrade to 4GB. I changed to Magenta to get unlimited cost $140 per month w/ autopay since 1 line is free. Overall I paid $20 more a month to get all the perks and unlimited.
Had I kept my old SC plan ~$120/month now I will get all the same perks and unlimited as Magenta. What is Tmobile's thinking? Should I call to go back to SC to get all these same perks and unlimited as Magenta?
I think T mobile should give upgrade free to Magenta to get all the perks from Magenta Plus.or else lot of customers would be very upset because of unfair treatment.

I thought it is 30 days from the day you receive your phone not 30 days from the order date.

I have read 30 days from when you received your phone or 30 days from when they shipped but my paper work for trade in label saids expires 5/19 which is 30 days from when I ordered which was today 4/19. Trying to get a clear answer so we dont get screwed over.

Yes, note that this is typically designed to replace your phone in use which becomes available to send as trade-in only after you receive the new one and can use it. You have 30 days to do that.

If we need to compare standard prepaid rates to standard postpaid rates then I get it. But we're not on the okaydeals or alrightdeals forum. No one should be paying full retail price for a car. We're not here to buy a Galaxy A32 5G for $282. So paying full retail for cellular plans falls in the same boat unless you haven't been paying attention or not aware that there are deals to be had. Even the current buy 2 get 1 free line offer is just OK when you know that there were better deals in the past.

Anyone needing a cell phone plan deal should've signed up during the last 20% insider discount offer and combined that with the free line offer in September 2020. That gets you $96/mo for 4 lines, tax included and all of the other perks. And then this account could've added all of the other "Line On Us" free line offers since ... here's the latest one. And another one. 4 or 5 or 6 lines at $96/mo! Anyone who believes that prepaid is better, that's wonderful. That's your perogative. And if you feel the need to spread that gospel, by all means do so. But it's not like you needed to go back 5 or 10 years and be on some historic, retired cell phone plan to do better than prepaid and get to take advantage of all the perks such as what we're getting in this thread.
