To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Does anyone know how you pay off the phone you will trade in when doing this online? I went through the process and did not see any prompts for this. I know you have to pay off the phone before trading in.

Also, can anyone confirm that you would retain bill credits even when trading in the phone?

Any help is appreciated
You can see the EIP of all the phones on your plan at https://my.t-mobile.com/eipjod and make payments on there.

Just went to store and trade in 2 Blu phones (blue vivo xl 2 and blu r1 plus) for 2 Samsung A32, is pretty smooth, they have trouble finding the model on their system but a phone call fixed the issue.

Also notice that there's some different qualifications....one employee say cannot have damage(water damage etc) while other say as long as it turns on it is fine.
In the store did they activate both new phones?

Are you adventurous or don't mind a bit of work to save close to $200? The iPhone 7 gets you the same trade-in value as the XR. Assuming your iPhone XR is in good shape, likely you can sell it for ~$300 on Swappa or locally on Craigslist/OfferUp. If you can get an iPhone 7 cheap enough to trade in, it might be worth your time to do so.

You can get a Total Wireless iPhone 7 for $90 [totalwireless.com]; Total Wireless is a TracFone subsidiary. Must add a $35 plan so $125 total. Use code "SPRING25" to take $22.50 off making your total $102.49 before tax. Your going to get a pristine iPhone 7 and a bonus lightning cable and usb charger to keep as backup. Trade in that iPhone 7, sell your XR, and hopefully net nearly $200 compared to trading in the XR.

If you're not adventurous, I'd still do the trade in myself simply because of the no add-a-line requirement.
I too want to be adventurous but this will be my first time buying/selling used phones. You seem knowelegable about all the moving parts. Does the following seem plausible or am I going in a bad direction?

I have 3 iphone se 2020 (two 128 GB & one 256 GB). I was thinking about trying to sell them then buying 2 used iPhone 11 to use as a trade in for the 12. A used 11 seems to start about $450. Do you think I could sell the SE's for around $275-$300 each?

I'm going to sell my se 2020 64GB at $200. $275 for a 128GB seems too good, but you can always try. If you want iPhone mini, you can get cheaper iPhone 6 or lower. I got an iPhone 4 at 16 bucks from eBay to trade in.

Thanks for the input! I'll try the 'adventurous' route!
I was going to trade in an XR also but bought the Total Wireless iPhone 7 to trade in instead and pass the XR to an in-law still using a 5C. The iPhone 7 was ordered on 4/14 and delivered today so I did the iPhone 12 promotion online earlier today. FWIW, when specifying the phone being traded in, Total Wireless isn't listed as one of the providers so I selected TracFone.

i forgot the phone unlock code for my very old basic samsung phone called GRAVITY TXT. Any simple way to bypass the unlock code number that I forgot and do a master factory reset? I googled a lot but most just says try random numbers which don't work.

I want to return this to get the Samsung A32 5G phone.

Thanks

Go to Swappa.com and see what iPhone SE's are selling for [swappa.com]. Looks like 2nd gen SE are going for $250 to $300. Be realistic and price your phone based on what others have sold for. Or look on your local Craigslist and see if any iPhone SEs are listed there and price yours accordingly (aka a tad lower than everyone else) to sell.

For iPhone 11, you can purchase those from Total Wireless as well for less than $450. They'll come pristine. Check out this Slickdeals thread on Total Wireless. iPhone 11's are roughly $350 shipped that includes $25 for a month of Total Wireless service that you'll not use.

EDIT: ~$350 for reconditioned iPhone 11 and unfortunately is currently out of stock. If you don't see a reconditioned iPhone 11 option at Total Wireless, you're out of luck. So hunt for another option while periodically checking if it comes back in stock.

Did anyone order online and paid 6.99 shipping fees ? Does it really take 6-7 days for delivery or it still got shipped and delivered in 2 days even after selecting 6.99 basic shipping ?

Most of the Tmobile stores around my area are already sold out. I was told they were not given much inventory on the A32.
